Bus Driver - Sporting Kansas City (Kansas City, MO)

Position Summary

Sporting Kansas City is seeking a confident, hard-working and innovative individual who is interested in an opportunity to work within the Fan Engagement department. The Fan Engagement Bus Driver will drive the new SKC Mobile Marketing Vehicle  on an as-needed basis.

Essential Functions

  • Operate large passenger bus with confidence and precision while utilizing safe and defensive driving tactics
  • Represent Sporting Kansas City, Children’s Mercy Park and other Associates at events in the community year-round
  • Drive and activate the SKC Mobile Marketing Vehicle at community events such as Sporting Moves, Boulevardia, Westport Beer Fest, Fiesta KC, Plaza Art Fair and other festivals, parades, concerts and Pub-to-Pitch, etc.
  • Display a strong commitment to company rules in regards to arriving on time, cleaning/detailing the vehicle and a passion for building relationships and rapport with fans
  • Pick up customers on time at predetermined locations and predetermine times
  • Check clients in to the bus and answer any questions they may have
  • Review rules and guidelines with the entire group
  • Monitor the behavior of the group to ensure no interpersonal issues or conflicts arise
  • Monitor the bus with the group from when the group arrives until they leave
  • Open door for customers and make them feel welcome
  • Fill out vehicle inspection form every shift
  • Maintain an accurate log of all trips made. Include passenger information, start and ending mileage and properly signed agreements by clients
  • Represent Sporting Kansas City in a professional manner at all times
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned

POSITION SUMMARY

The Youth Soccer Coordinator will be responsible for fulfillment of Sporting Club Network (SCN) commitments, assisting in communications and marketing of programs, activation of sponsorship assets, and other youth soccer initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Build and strengthen relationships with current SCN and youth soccer partners through regular communication and outstanding customer service, while ensuring fulfillment of their assets, events and contractual obligations.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all current and potential Sporting Club Network partnerships and events.
  • Maintain reports and spreadsheets tracking membership fulfillment, marketing analytics, event attendance and client interaction.
  • Serve as on-site POC for all Sporting Club Network events, working closely with key departments and partners to effectively deliver high-quality experiences.

The Director of Youth Programs is a business oriented person that has a vast experience in coaching and playing soccer.  This individual will be responsible for driving revenue within the youth soccer department through various programs that is overseen from beginning to end by you.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Oversee the camp budget.
  • Oversee all youth training programs from start to finish.
  • Sell programs to area youth clubs, boards and organizations.
  • Responsible for quality control on programs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to current paying clients.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Part Time Facility Specialist will primarily assist the Engineering staff in the mechanical and general maintenance of all Sporting Kansas City facilities. This individual will help respond to breakdowns, diagnosing faults, repairing equipment, fixtures or fittings to reduce downtime.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Execute basic troubleshooting for power and lighting
  • Address basic plumbing issues with faucets, sinks, urinals, water closets, garbage disposals, dishwashers, showers, water fountains and hot/cold tubs
  • Assist in the preventative maintenance of HVAC systems including split systems, perimeter heat, residential and commercial rooftop units
  • Assist with seasonal cleaning, filter changes, grease & belts
  • Assist with commercial kitchen appliance repair
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, problem detection and work on minor building projects
  • Paint, apply drywall and install wall paper, carpeting and tile floor repairs
