Position Summary

The Sporting Kansas City Account Executive is responsible for following all sales protocols in pursuing prospects to meet and exceed group, partial packages, premium seats and season ticket sales goals.  The Account Executive will service as the primary sales and marketing contact for all clients, maintaining continued communication.

 Essential Functions

  • Use strategic telemarketing, email and face-to-face appointments to contact potential clients.
  • Build trust and a professional business relationship with all clients.
  • Prospect new clients by networking throughout the community.
  • Sell a full menu of ticket plans including, but not limited to, single games, premium inventory, season tickets, partial plans and group tickets to both business and individual consumers.

  • Develop and plan group events to create a unique experience for a group.

  • Reach out to clients after game day to ensure they had the best possible fan experience.
  • Show empathy to clients who may be upset, making sure to turn tragic moments into magic moments.
  • Act as a mentor to Sales Associates by practicing role play, assisting with sales appointments and talking through strategic plans.

Position Summary

The Sporting Kansas City Brand Ambassador promotes Sporting Kansas City to ensure a memorable fan experience. The Brand Ambassador assists the Events Marketing Team with event planning, marketing and advertising; acting as the “face” of Sporting Kansas City and strengthening the brand with a natural connection to the community.

  • Serve as a Corporate Partnerships revenue generator, focused on creating innovative solutions for next generation Sporting Club partners.

Sporting Stripes Instructor - Sporting Kansas City (Kansas City, MO)

Sporting Lee’s Summit (club affiliate of Sporting Kansas City) is looking for instructors to be part of our early childhood soccer program 2-5 years-old! We are currently looking for outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic candidates interested in being Lead & Assistant Instructors. Sporting LS Stripes curriculum takes a child-centered approach in teaching all while enjoying the beautiful game of soccer!

  • Classes will be held at Z Sports (707 Doc Henry rd. Greenwood, MO 64034)
  • Classes are Thursdays: 10:15am, 5:15pm, 6:15pm
  • Ratio is 1 instructor for 10 kids.
  • Class breakdown:  2/3 years, 3/4 years and 4/5 years
  • Dates are August 25th –  September 15th (4 weeks) and September 29th – October 20th
  • Pay rate will vary based on experience

POSITION SUMMARY

Instructors for Sporting Lee’s Summit are responsible for leading and assisting in the early childhood soccer programs based on the Sporting Stripes curriculum.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Determine overall strategy and philosophy of play for children ages two to five.
  • Lead and assist training sessions that are both stimulating and instructive while taking a child-centered approach to show children how to enjoy the game of soccer.
  • Lead training activities including exercises, team tactics and individual training.

Position Summary

The Sporting Kansas City Vice President of Marketing provides leadership and clear direction to associates on the Marketing Team, as well as implements strategy to ensure the team hits and exceeds its annual business plan, ultimately maximizing revenue for the organization.

Position Summary

Sporting Kansas City’s Video Operations Intern will hold a temporary position within the company, with an emphasis on training and gathering practical experience in video and broadcast operations for a professional sports organization.  The Video Operations Intern will gain hands-on experience working with the Video Operations and Broadcast Team, collaborating in an environment full of learning opportunities designed to help all interns evolve their capabilities, challenge their strengths and reach their fullest potential.

Essential Functions

  • Enhance creativity through shooting, editing projects and creating graphics.
  • Assist in producing and creating videos for multiple aspects of the organization, including websites, broadcast and in-stadium videos.
  • Research, write and convey information to the viewing audience.
  • Create and complete any video needs as requested by Team Leads on the Video Operations Team.
  • Attend production meetings to review scripts and ensure knowledge on the look of the show.
