SUMMARY

Seattle Sounders FC are searching for a self-driven and motivated individual to join our group sales team. The ideal candidate is a highly passionate, hard-working, dedicated leader who will lead a team to maximize revenue through a wide variety of group ticket initiatives.  This position will be responsible for managing, training and developing a team of six group experience consultants in an effort to meet and exceed all sales goals of the department. We are looking for a team member who strives to create an industry leading group’s team and is committed to the long term growth of the fan base of Sounders FC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Manage, train, coach and develop a Group Sales Team; including leading sales activities, setting and reviewing sales targets, coaching and mentoring.

·        Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Community Relations, Premium Sales and Corporate Partnership departments to develop theme nights and specific events to maximize group sales.

·        Manage outbound sales call campaigns and track results to measure ROI.

·        Actively assist in selling and renewing group sales opportunities for Seattle Sounders FC.

·        Work closely with department head in developing and implementing annual group sales plans to increase group tickets and associated revenue. 

·        Maximize all group sales opportunities by executing best practices and implementing new and innovative group theme nights.

·        Effectively schedule and implement online group sales initiatives.

·        Work with all of ticket sales and service team members to ensure unity as a department and communicate group initiatives, goals, and programs.

·        Effectively track and strategize against a match by match group goal and budget.

·        Provide group experience specialists support on sales calls, face-to-face B2B appointments, and arena tours.

·        Work closely with department head and Ticket Operations to manage group ticket inventory on a match-by-match basis.

·        Organize and maintain weekly sales reports and updates for department head.

QUALIFICATIONS 

·        Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

·        Experience with Archtics ticketing platform.

·        Previous success in selling group tickets.

·        Previous management of a team in a sales environment.

·        Positive attitude with a team-first mentality.

·        High proficiency in both written and verbal communications (public speaking and presentation).

·        Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills.

·        Strong time management organization and analytical skills.

·        Strong work ethic and high personal accountability.

·        A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

·        Undergraduate degree required (Bachelor's Degree)

·        2-3 years of experience in Ticket Service, Operations and Sales

·        1 year of management experience, preferably in Sales

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly

 

SUMMARY

Seattle Sounders FC are searching for self-driven and motivated individuals to join our Sounders FC Sales Academy. The ideal candidate is passionate about sales and motivated to exceed all ticket sales goals.  We are looking for team members who strive to be the best and are committed to the long term growth of the ticket base of Sounders FC.  As a New Membership Associate you will be considered a full-time temporary employee with the ability to work up to 40 hours per week.

New Membership Associates will be evaluated on a regular basis throughout the year, and only those Reps who continue to exceed performance expectations will be permitted to stay in the program. New Membership Associates will sell our full menu of ticket offerings including season tickets, group tickets and partial plans. New Membership Associates will be expected to make a minimum of 100 cold calls daily to businesses, individuals and past ticket buyers.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

·   Exceed established sales objectives

·   Handle a high level of sales activity, including a minimum of 100 outbound sales calls per day.

·   Identify business opportunities by establishing professional and personal networks.

·   Maintain an accurate database of your customers and document all touch points with your clients.

·   Provide outstanding customer service

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Player Operations: Coach
Youth Camp Site Technical Director - Seattle Sounders FC (Seattle, WA)

JOB TITLE: Youth Camp Site Technical Director

DEPARTMENT: Soccer Programs

REPORTS TO: Director of Soccer Programs

STATUS: Part-time, hourly

SUMMARY:

Sounders FC Youth Camp Site Technical Director coaches will provide technical instruction and guidance to the camp coaches at the individual camp site they are supervising.


The Technical Director will ensure the staff coaches are following the camp curriculum and methodology as it pertains to each specific age group.  The Technical Director will provide on field coaching education to the camp staff coaches and assist with exercise implementation. 


The Technical Director will be responsible for announcing and explaining the technical and tactical topic each day at camp to the camp participants.  The Technical Director will also provide operational support at the camp regarding check-in and out procedures, daily giveaways, camp setup, item distribution, customer service to parents, and provide an additional line of safety for the camp.

The Technical Director will be asked at times to provide coaching for various age groups and programs throughout the summer time.  Technical Directors will provide feedback to the camp directors regarding coaching performances, camp operations, and player talent.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Implementation of Sounders FC Curriculum and Methodology
• Supervises camp site coaches and implements Sounders FC curriculum, methodology and system organization

• Coaching players in the u6 to u18 age range in accordance with Sounders curriculum and methodology

• Display a complete support of curriculum, methodology, and system organization at all times

• Ability to effectively carry out the curriculum and explain it to coaches


Operations
• Assist camp site manager with daily operations of camp
• Help sign children in and out of soccer camp
• Organize equipment each day
• Hand out prizes and awards
• Address the group on daily topic and activities


Customer Relationships
• Be cordial and respectful when dealing with parents, fellow coaches and camp participants

• Be a knowledgeable and positive ambassador for the Sounders
• First line of customer service for questions about camp operations, specifically technical aspects 

• Escalate any issues to camp directors

Safety
• Survey camp sites daily for potential hazards.  Escalate issues to Camp Directors.

• Implement all camp safety procedures and protocols and ensure that all camp site coaches follow safety procedures and protocols. 
• Keep the children under control and behaving in a manner to avoid injury


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Premier level soccer playing experience required
• Professional playing experience preferred but not required

• Premier level coaching experience for a minimum of 3 years

• Youth Soccer Director role experience preferred but not required
• Experience in childcare preferred but not required
• USSF “C” license required.  USSF “B” license or equivalent preferred, but not required

• WA driver license required (by first day of employment)


QUALIFICATIONS
• Must have strong leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively and clearly with coaching staff
• Must be extremely punctual and organized
• Must have in-depth knowledge of the game of soccer

• Must be able to effectively carry out the Sounders FC curriculum and explain it to coaches
• Demonstrated ability to teach techniques, tactics, physical and psychological components of soccer
• Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate and educate youth players and youth coaching staff.

• Must be able to effectively carry out training sessions
• Must be able to move and transport various types of soccer equipment and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

• Must pass a criminal background check


WORK ENVIRONMENT
• 95% of the work will be done in an outdoor environment. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 31 hours a week
• Must be available to work a minimum of 6 weeks between June 15 and September 1
• Must be able to provide your own transportation to local camp locations

Player Operations: Coach
Youth Soccer Camp Coach - Seattle Sounders FC (Seattle, WA)

JOB TITLE: Youth Soccer Camp Coach

DEPARTMENT: Soccer Programs

REPORTS TO: Director of Soccer Programs

STATUS: Part-Time, Hourly

SUMMARY:

Sounders FC Youth Camp coaches will provide coaching instruction to kids ages 3 – 18 who have registered to participate in Sounders FC Summer Camps.

Coaches will be required to follow and teach the specific curriculum as it pertains to each individual topic of the day. Coaches will be responsible for being educated on the Sounders FC Summer Camp coaching curriculum and have an ability to teach the curriculum to children in every age group.  Coaching education will be provided at mandatory and paid orientation days.

Youth Camp coaches are also responsible for the safety of the children at soccer camp. Each camp coach will be provided with a Sounders FC Coaching Handbook and is required to be up to date and familiar with all rules, regulations, and policies regarding child safety.

Coaches are to assist the site director of each camp location in the day to day operations of each camp site, that includes and is not limited to, setting up camp drills, sorting equipment, checking kids into camp, distributing awards, and handing out supplies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teaching the Curriculum
• Study and learn Sounders FC 2015 Summer Camp Curriculum
• Effectively carry out the lesson plans and teach the kids accordingly based on their age level

Safety
• Manage the kids at camp to keep them safe
• Keep an eye out for any dangerous opportunities at camp site
• Keep the children under control and behaving in a manner to avoid injury

Operations
• Assist site director in setting up camp and closing camp each day
• Help sign children in and out of soccer camp
• Organize equipment each day
• Hand out prizes and awards
• Keep kids under control while site director is addressing the group

Customer Relationships
• Be cordial and respectful when dealing with parents at camp
• Direct any and all complaints to the site director in a calm and respectful manner

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Premier level soccer playing experience required
• College playing experience preferred but not required
• Experience in childcare preferred but not required
• Minimum “E” Coaching License or equivalent preferred but not required

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have strong leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively and clearly with children
• Must be very punctual
• Must have in-depth knowledge of the soccer so they can effectively teach it to beginners

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to effectively demonstrate soccer specific technical abilities
• Will be required to set up promotional material at youth camp locations
• Must be able to move and transport soccer various types of soccer equipment

• Must have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid Certificates

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• 95% of the work will be done in an outdoor environment
• Must be able to work a minimum of 18 hours a week
• Must be available to work a minimum of 6 weeks between June 16 and September 1
• Must be able to provide your own transportation to local camp locations
