Summary

Seattle Sounders FC are searching for a self-driven and motivated individual to join our sales team. The ideal candidate is competitive and motivated to exceed all ticket sales and renewal goals presented by management. We are looking for a team member who strives to be the best and is committed to the long term growth of the ticket base of Sounders FC.  Responsible for generating revenue by identifying new business prospects and selling all ticket products. Responsible for the service, support and maintenance of assigned customer accounts and meeting all pre-determined individual and department sales and service performance goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

·   Meet established sales objectives by executing sales calls and presentations promoting ticket products.

·   Identify business opportunities by establishing professional and personal networks.

·   Develop relationships with full season and partial season ticket members.

·   Responsible for servicing and up-selling all ticket products.

·   Assist suite department by selling single game suite inventory.

·   Handle inbound calls and provide necessary information to convert into sales or assist in service issues.

·   Lead sales presentations or tours to potential clients.

·   Maintain an accurate database of your customers and document all touch points with your clients.

·   Provide customer service to handle and resolve customer complaints.

·   Handle season ticket member upgrade and renewal process.

·   Oversee large corporate sales initiatives as assigned.

·   Meet or exceed sales goals as set by supervisor.

·   Attend and provide service at match days and other special events that include night and weekend work.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

·        One or more years of experience in sports ticket sales.

·        Bilingual or multi-lingual skills a plus

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position functions primarily at the Sounders FC office in Seattle, WA. Employee will be required to occasionally drive to off-site meetings and other functions. Must have reliable means of transportation. Given the nature of the Sounders’ business, employee must be able to work during some evenings and weekends, including all Sounders match days.

Premium Sales Representative - Seattle Sounders FC (Seattle, WA)

JOB TITLE:  Sounders FC Premium Sales Representative

DEPARTMENT: Suites

SUMMARY

This position will focus on sales and renewals for single match Suites, Reserve Club memberships, and Pitch Side Tables.  This position is expected to cultivate prospects for, and close new business through outbound sales efforts.  The service-oriented individual must be passionate about sales, provide exceptional customer service, and display a positive, can do attitude in order to assist the Suite department in meeting the overall revenue/retention goals. 

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prospect, develop and close new prospects for single match suites, Reserve Club memberships, and Pitch Side Tables
  • Meet & exceed individual new revenue and retention goals thereby contributing to departmental net budget goals.
  • Maintain consistent single game suite sales at desired operating capacity
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop sales strategy and marketing campaigns relative to premium sales
  • Assist in the development of sales collateral
  • Contribute to overall department initiatives to develop & execute high quality prospecting & networking events
  • Develop relationships to encourage optimal utilization of customers premium product and corresponding amenities
  • Assist in service initiatives and pertinent tasks of the suite department
  • Maintain current, accurate, and detailed sales history records in CRM for all suite buyers and prospects
  • Focus on converting / upselling premium product buyers into full season suite owners

Finance: Accounting/Finance other
Staff Accountant - Seattle Sounders FC (Seattle, Wa)

SUMMARY

The position is responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable for the Seattle Sounder FC. The Staff Accountant will also provide support for any additional needs of the finance department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

·        Prepare bi-weekly accounts payable including monitoring incoming invoices and obtaining the appropriate approvals from department managers and ensuring payments are made on time 

·        Invoice Corporate Sponsors according to the schedules in their contracts and follow up with the Corporate Sponsorship department on collections

·        Oversee the purchasing cards program ensuring monthly purchasing card expenses have been properly coded

·        Prepare process documents for accounting and administrative policies and procedures

This is a newly developed role within the Sounders FC finance department, as the role develops new duties will be assigned to support the finance department. Additional duties that could be assigned include, but are not limited to: governmental reporting, league reporting, ticket reporting, and ad hoc analysis.

SUMMARY: Seattle Sounders FC seeks an enthusiastic and skilled sales leader for the position of Ticket Sales Manager. The ideal candidate for this position has extensive sports ticket sales experience and proven leadership ability.

The role of Ticket Sales Manager for Seattle Sounders FC will be to oversee day to day inside sales of all ticket products, execute ticket plans and achieve short term and long term ticket sales objectives.  This position requires an organized approach to motivating, teaching, and coaching ticket sales staff and direct sales of all ticket and premium products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Meet or exceed department sales goals.

·        Develop and execute ticket sales action plans to achieve revenue goals.

·        Direct sales of all products to corporate clients and major group clients.

·        Recruit, interview, hire, and regularly conduct performance reviews of sales team members.

·        Work closely with other Sounder FC departments such as Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, and Business Operations to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

·        Collaborate with marketing team to implement effective strategies to drive ticket sales.

·        Manage outbound sales call campaigns and internet-based solicitation through CRM tool and sales reports, tracking ROI, and lead management.

·        Monitor time management and day to day activities for the ticket sales staff

·        Monitory weekly status of staff by measuring productivity and results

·        Manage, coach, and train a sales team.

·        Develop and administer coaching and training regimen to include daily, weekly, and monthly sales feedback for staff to accelerate their sales skill sets.

·        Organize and maintain weekly sales report updates for Director – Ticket Sales, leadership team, and sales staff.

·        Effectively set sales goals and expectations for members of the sales team.

·        Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement. Works closely with sales management to inspect the sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.

·        Provide highest level of customer service throughout the season and model service excellence for the ticket sales staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

·        Experience with Archtics ticketing platform.

·        Previous success in selling tickets and developing leads

·        Previous management of a team in a sales environment.

·        Proven ability to train new sales associates.

·        High proficiency in both written and verbal communications (public speaking and presentation).

Player Operations: Coach
Youth Soccer Camp Coach - Seattle Sounders FC (Seattle, WA)

JOB TITLE: Youth Soccer Camp Coach

DEPARTMENT: Youth Programs

REPORTS TO: Director of Soccer Programs

PREPARED DATE: January 2015

SUMMARY:  Sounders FC Youth Camp coaches will provide coaching instruction to kids ages 4 – 18 who have registered to participate in Sounders FC Summer Camps.


Coaches will be required to follow and teach the specific curriculum as it pertains to each individual topic of the day. Coaches will be responsible for being educated on the Sounders FC Summer Camp coaching curriculum and have an ability to teach the curriculum to children in every age group.  Coaching education will be provided at the mandatory and paid orientation day.


Youth Camp coaches are also responsible for the safety of the children at soccer camp. Each camp coach will be provided with a Sounders FC Coaching Handbook and is required to be up to date and familiar with all rules, regulations, and policies regarding child safety.


Coaches are to assist the site director of each camp location in the day-to-day operation of each camp site. This includes, but is not limited to, setting up camp drills, sorting equipment, checking kids into camp, distributing awards, and handing out supplies.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Teaching the Curriculum
• Study and learn Sounders FC 2015 Summer Camp Curriculum
• Effectively carry out the lesson plans and teach the kids according to their age and skill

Safety
• Manage the kids at camp to keep them safe
• Keep an eye out for any dangerous opportunities at camp site
• Keep the children under control and behaving in a manner to avoid injury

• Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior in working with campers, campers’ families, fellow team members, leadership, and facility partners.

• Adhere to state laws and Sounders FC policies and procedures


Operations
• Assist site director in setting up camp and closing camp each day
• Help sign children in and out of soccer camp
• Organize equipment each day
• Hand out prizes and awards
• Keep kids under control while site director is addressing the group


Customer Relationships
• Must be able to relate and interact with kids, parents, other coaches, and those in leadership with a professional, appropriate and considerate manner. 
• Direct any and all complaints to the site director in a calm and respectful manner


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Premier level soccer playing experience required
• College playing experience preferred but not required
• Experience in childcare preferred but not required
• Minimum “E” Coaching License or equivalent preferred but not required


QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be at least 16 years old as of May 31, 2015

• Must have strong leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively and clearly with children
• Must be very punctual
• Must have in-depth knowledge of the soccer so they can effectively teach it to beginners

• Must be able to maintain a positive attitude in every circumstance


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to effectively demonstrate soccer specific technical abilities
• Will be required to set up promotional material at youth camp locations
• Must be able to move and transport soccer various types of soccer equipment

• CPR/First Aid certification strongly preferred


WORK ENVIRONMENT
• 95% of the work will be done in an outdoor environment
• Must be able to work a minimum of 18 hours a week
• Must be available to work a minimum of 6 weeks between June 16 and September 1
• Must be able to provide your own transportation to local camp locations
