SUMMARY

This position will focus on the generation of corporate partnerships and new full season suite revenue for the Seattle Sounders FC.  This position is expected to cultivate prospects for, and close new, strategic corporate partnerships and full season suite sales, and requires a service-oriented individual who is passionate about sales, providing exceptional service, and displays a positive, can do attitude.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prospect, develop and close new prospects for corporate partnerships
  • Prospect, develop and close new full season suite sales
  • Meet & exceed individual new revenue, retention, and expense management goals thereby contributing to departmental net budget goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop sales strategy and marketing campaigns
  • Assist in the development of Corporate Partnerships and Suites sales collateral
  • Contribute to overall departmental initiative to develop & execute high quality prospecting & networking events
  • Develop relationships with corporate partners and suite owners to encourage optimal utilization of their corporate partnerships / suites and corresponding year round amenities
  • Assist in developing and executing a powerful service plan that will exceed corporate partners and suite owners’ expectations and positively impact retention rates
  • Maintain current, accurate, and detailed sales history records in CRM for all partners and prospects

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university
  • Degree in marketing, sports management or related field preferred 
  • Minimum five to seven years successful, comparable, experience in any of the following industries: sponsorships, sports/event marketing, media sales.  Prior sales experience in sports preferred.
  • Proven track record of closing new business, exceeding sales performance goals, and a focus on cultivating relationships.  

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Strong, positive communication skills to both internal constituents and external clients is required.  Individual must be able to express their ideas clearly both orally and in writing.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Individual must have a command for basic accounting principles to perform budgetary management.

Job Title: Fan Relations Representative

Reports To: Fan Relations Manager

SUMMARY

Responsible for the service, support and maintenance of assigned customer accounts and meeting all pre-determined individual and department service and sales performance goals. Responsible for embracing the organization’s mission and providing excellent service to all fans that will not only excite them now, but encourage them to continue their support of Seattle Sounders FC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)

·       Proactively build relationships with season ticket members

·       Handle all forms of inbound communication and be able to address and answer all questions, comments or concerns

·       Contact and encourage current customers to renew commitments

·       Be informed and communicate common customer feedback to help initiate changes and foster a Fans First Culture

·       Responsible for servicing and upselling all ticket products

·       Facilitate season ticket member upgrades and additional seat requests

·       Enter new customer data and other sales data in appropriate database

·       Responsible for ejection reporting and warning letter process

·       Attend and provide service at match days and other special events that include night and weekend work

·       Coordinate with all departments to better enhance the fan’s match day experience

·       Achieve monthly goals as set by supervisor

·       Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

·       Demonstrated work experience in a professional sports or college athletics environment, including involvement with high-profile events

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

·       Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from accredited four-year college or university required;

·       1-2 years of experience in sales, service, guest relations or related area

SUMMARY
Drives the visual identity of the Seattle Sounders FC through the design of a wide variety of marketing and team materials. Works as a member of the marketing team to guide and shape the team brands. Provides creative direction to internal departments, advertising agencies and partners. Maintains brand consistency by acting as a resource for all customer touch points including: broadcast, in-stadium, and retail. Creates and distributes team style guides to define yearly brand guidelines and direction.

• Design marketing materials including but not limited to: flyers, advertisements, business materials, websites, emails, logos, posters, stadium signage, large-scale graphics, PowerPoint presentations, online advertisements, tickets, maps, retail graphics, and promo items.
• Work with the marketing team to define the team brands.
• Act as project manager for large marketing initiatives including season tickets and renewal campaigns.
• Manage print vendor relationships.
• Manage projects from initial creative brief to finished output.
• Provide art direction for photographers, agencies, and vendors.
