Fan Relations Representative - Seattle Sounders FC (Seattle, WA)

SUMMARY

Responsible for the service, support and maintenance of assigned customer accounts and meeting all pre-determined individual and department service and sales performance goals. Responsible for embracing the organization’s mission and providing excellent service to all fans that will not only excite them now, but encourage them to continue their support of Seattle Sounders FC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)

·       Proactively build relationships with season ticket members

·       Handle all forms of inbound communication and be able to address and answer all questions, comments or concerns

·       Contact and encourage current customers to renew commitments

·       Be informed and communicate common customer feedback to help initiate changes and foster a Fans First Culture

·       Responsible for servicing and upselling all ticket products

·       Facilitate season ticket member upgrades and additional seat requests

·       Enter new customer data and other sales data in appropriate database

·       Responsible for ejection reporting and warning letter process

·       Attend and provide service at match days and other special events that include night and weekend work

·       Coordinate with all departments to better enhance the fan’s match day experience

·       Achieve monthly goals as set by supervisor

·       Other duties as assigned

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

·       Demonstrated work experience in a professional sports or college athletics environment, including involvement with high-profile events

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

·       Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from accredited four-year college or university required;

·       1-2 years of experience in sales, service, guest relations or related area

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS

Must have a valid driver’s license

Group Sales Manager - Seattle Sounders FC (Seattle, Wa)

SUMMARY

Seattle Sounders FC seeks an enthusiastic and skilled sales leader for the position of Group Sales Manager. The ideal candidate for this position has extensive sports ticket sales experience and proven leadership ability.

The role of Group Sales Manager for Seattle Sounders FC & S2 will oversee all aspects of developing and executing group ticket sales plans to maximize revenue in the selling of group tickets, experiences, hospitality, and various premium seating. This position requires an organized approach to motivating, and coaching a team of group ticket sales representatives for Sounders FC. In addition to the management aspect this role will require the ideal candidate to sell group ticket products for Sounders FC and S2 events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including other duties as assigned)

·        Meet or exceed department sales goals.

·        Develop and execute group ticket sales action plans to achieve revenue goals.

·        Recruit, interview, hire, and regularly conduct performance reviews of group sales team members.

·        Implement plans to create new group sales opportunities.

·        Collaborate with departments such as marketing, public relations and business operations to effectively promote group ticket sales.

·        Proactively sell group tickets, experiences and hospitality packages.

·        Manage outbound sales call campaigns and internet-based solicitation through CRM tool and oversee sales reports, tracking ROI, and lead management.

·        Research, create and implement plans to grow group sales categories.

·        Identify and implement an effective incentive program to motivate group sales representatives to exceed organizational group sales targets.

·        Provide training to fan relations representatives and account executives to maximize group ticket cross-sell opportunities.

·        Develop annual group sales renewal process to retain key accounts year over year.

·        Organize and maintain weekly sales report updates for Director – Ticket Sales, leadership team, and sales staff.

·        Effectively set sales goals and expectations for members of the sales team.

·        Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement. Works closely with sales management to inspect the group sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

·        Experience with Archtics ticketing platform.

·        Previous success in selling group tickets.

·        Previous management of a team in a sales environment.

·        Positive attitude with a team-first mentality.

·        High proficiency in both written and verbal communications (public speaking and presentation).

·        Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills.

·        Assertive, persistent, process and results oriented.

·        Strong time management organization and analytical skills.

·        Strong work ethic and high personal accountability.

·        Ability to be flexible, prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects and staff needs.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

·        Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university required.

·        Minimum of 3 years in sports ticket sales

·        Minimum of 1 year management experience
