COMPANY DESCRIPTION
The New York Red Bulls Academy is a cost free program that aspires to help develop the best talent in the Tri State Area. Comprised of five teams, the players train a minimum of three times a week and play a maximum of two games a week under the supervision of our professional staff. The program is designed to assist dedicated and talented players reach the highest levels of the game.

POSITION PURPOSE:
The Head Athletic Trainer will manage the day-to-day sports medicine operations for the youth academy soccer teams. In this capacity, the trainer will provide injury prevention strategies, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for players’ medical problems. The performance of duties will be under the direction and supervision of the Academy Director and Head Trainer of the First Team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The trainer will work closely with the Academy Director on a daily basis.
A year-round employee, the Trainer will attend all training, scrimmages, and home and away games.
Attend monthly and weekly staff meetings.
Performs as Certified Athletic Trainer in managing the health care of players. Health care included, but is not limited to, first aid/emergency care, on-site injury evaluation, and application of appropriate modalities, developing rehabilitation and prevention programs, as well as conducting rehabilitation and making medical referrals.
Comply with OSHA standards with regard to blood born pathogens.
Order, maintain, and inventory supplies and clinical equipment.
Keep training room and clinic area safe, clean and organized.
Maintain player medical records.
Initiate insurance claims for players.
Compile reports as required by US Development Academy and MLS.
Provide medical information to the Team Physician.
Supervise assistant trainers, interns and volunteers as applicable.
Demonstrate interpersonal skills required to work effectively with players, coaches and other team personnel.
Counsel players in regard to dietary needs, nutritional supplements, and League and FIFA banned substances.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
On a limited basis, participate in community service/educational programs related to sports medicine.


SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

A preferred Master’s degree in Sports Medicine or related health care field OR equivalent training/certification/registered physical therapist and experience in lieu of degree (minimum 2-4 years) and a Bachelors degree will be considered.
Certified Athletic Trainer, NATA.
In good standing with NATA.
Have a current New Jersey Driver’s License.
Current CPR certification.
Possess personal professional liability insurance.
Minimum three (3) years certified athletic trainer experience in a sports environment, preferably with team sports.
Excellent customer service skills and an understanding of the medical soccer industry.
Ability to resolve concerns expeditiously and independently.
Able to work long, flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

POSITION PURPOSE:

The purpose of this position is to oversee all production elements at Red Bull Arena and create content for the company web site. Additional responsibilities include hiring and managing a crew of freelance designers and staff for events at RBA.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Plan and produce game-day video roll-ins, animation, highlight packages and other video pieces as well as in-game music and fan prompts for use during live events.
Hire and manage all staff related to multimedia productions for all RBA events including freelance employees and full-service contractors.
Consult with marketing staff on game-day scripts, video presentation, and placement of sponsor recognition ads and promotional events.
Effectively use live video production equipment, and stats integration in the event production.
During live events, run the video and music while on headset communication with production crew and event manager.
Coordinate with game-day production crew and technical director.
Attend on-site for meetings with advertisers, marketing group and facility staff.
Work with new media manager to create unique content for various RBNY websites and in-stadium activities.

POSITION PURPOSE:.

The New York Red Bulls (RBNY) Operations Department comprises of various duties for all events held at Red Bull Arena and others done by RBNY. The goal of the Operations department is to provide students with hands on work experience within a professional sports organization. Our interns are given a great deal of responsibility while working with other RBNY departments. This is an unpaid internship; however college credit is available per the college’s requirements.
Interns will be working closely with the operations staff, specifically, the events leading up to game days through post game duties. Due to the dynamic nature and diversity of work required in operations, it would be unrealistic to expect strictly outlined job descriptions to apply in every case. Job responsibilities may overlap categories at any given point in time.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Aid in the operations of Red Bull Arena.

Operations Coordinator - Red Bull New York (Secaucus, NJ)

POSITION PURPOSE:.
The purpose of this position is to coordinate and participate in departmental planning and development activities to ensure smooth and successful delivery of all operations including but not limited to Events held at Red Bull Arena, front office operations and Training Facility operations.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Participate in planning sessions, relating to game days and operations events; advise on details.
Manage details to ensure smooth delivery of successful events.
Game day operations for Red Bull games and other events at Red Bull Arena.
Maintain relations with stadium trades and all other contracted services at RBA
Assist Operations Manager with day to day office maintenance and training facility requirements.
Work with Soccer United Marketing (SUM) or any other promoter on International soccer matches, concerts or any other events.
Supervise operations interns, day of game interns and volunteers.
Respond to special or emergency needs prior to, as well as during, game day and other events.
MLS game day operations as outlined by the MLS Game Operations Manual (separate document).
Investigate methods for improving processes and procedures that will help streamline operations.

POSITION PURPOSE:.

This position requires a dynamic, professional, energetic, creative sales professional with a successful selling track record (preferred) in collegiate, minor league and/or professional sports. This position represents one of the key functions within the framework of the Red Bulls franchise structure, responsible for helping the franchise meet its financial goals while delivering the highest levels of customer service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • The Ticket Sales Account Executive (AE) is required to create and manage effective revenue yielding relationships with various organizations and people within the private and public sectors.
  • Responsible for selling new season ticket and mini plan packages, groups and/or corporate ticket packages based on the AE’s individual focus as a member of the sales team.
  • Sales presentations will be made by telephone, email and/or face to face meetings.

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Director of Premium Services is responsible for ensuring world-class service to all premium guests at Red Bull Arena. This position is responsible for selling and managing all Sky Box and Club Seat ticket packages. Additional responsibilities include: managing, maintaining, and organizing all premium events within the Sky Boxes, Club Seats, and lounges.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Using sales techniques to promote and sell the Sky Boxes and Club Seats for all events at the Arena.

OVERVIEW
The team seeks an individual who will be primarily responsible for selling season, partial and group tickets via telemarketing, electronic mail, fax and other communication means. He/She will also service accounts, work all regular season games performing various duties ranging from fan services, operations to marketing activation. You will be expected to positively contribute to our overall fan base development objectives. The ideal candidate should be aggressive, competitive, professional, mature, self-starting and committed to the sports industry. He/She must demonstrate previous involvement in a wide range of activities or clubs. Prior telemarketing and/or sales experience is preferred but not essential. Any experience working for a team, athletic department, or event is beneficial. Strong communication skills are a necessity. College degree required.


Enrollment in Inside Sales may last up to three (3) months, after which time successful candidates may be offered full-time sales positions or have their program extended. Inside Sales Reps will learn all aspects of the team’s services and programs, and will gain valuable sales experience.


JOB DESCRIPTION
• 90% of time spent on inside phone work (75-100 calls/day) – 10% on outside events

• Follow-up phone calls that may include special offers

COMPENSATION

EVALUATION CRITERIA

  • A number of factors will be considered when evaluating a candidate at the end of the Inside Sales program, including but not limited to sales performance/production.
  • The minimum sales production for each Inside Sales candidate is $8,000 in ticket revenue per month, and may be broken down to include game-by-game ticket goals as well.
