POSITION PURPOSE:

Control Room Production Interns will be exposed to allaspects of audio & video production in Red Bull Arena. Candidates will be expected to attend all Red Bull Arena events. The “hands-on” internship is suited for creative, motivated individuals who seek experience in non-linear editing, graphic design, and live event production. THIS INTERNSHIP IS UNPAID AND FOR CREDIT ONLY. PROOF THAT YOU ARE RECEIVING CREDIT IS REQUIRED.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Learn various control room roles including replay, camera operation, and stats.
Record, log, and dub clips from Red Bull New York games and events.
Exposure to video/audio elements to be used in-Stadium.
Assist in the day-to-day and event operations of the control room team.
Assist in other projects in Marketing and Operations departments.
Provide assistance and support for internal and external requests as needed.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

Exceptional artistic and computer skills are preferred.
Non-Linear (Final Cut/Avid) video production experience needed

Desire to get hands-on experience and learn the in-and-outs of a live TV/scoreboard production Control Room.

Group Sales Manager - Red Bull New York (Harrison, NJ)

 

Red Bull New York is one of 19 teams that comprise the top-flight professional soccer league in the United States – Major League Soccer.  In 2008, the Red Bulls won the Western Conference Championship and played for the MLS Cup. On the pitch, the team is led by captain Thierry Henry, a former Premiership striker.  All home New York Red Bulls home matches are played at Red Bull Arena. It is a 25,000 seat state-of-the-art soccer-specific facility in Harrison, New Jersey. POSITION PURPOSE:

 

This position requires a dynamic, professional, energetic, creative sales leader with a successful selling track record (preferred) in collegiate, minor league and/or professional sports. This position represents one of the key sales roles within the framework of the Red Bulls franchise structure, responsible for helping the club meet its financial goals while delivering the highest levels of customer service.

 

ESSENTIAL MANAGER FUNCTIONS:

 

      Write, create and execute overall group sales marketing plan to increase group sales revenue for the Red Bulls

      Recruit, train, interview, hire, and regularly conduct performance reviews of Group Sales Representatives, and Group Inside Sales Supervisor

      Maintain and track expenses for Group Sales Initiatives

      Research, create and implement plans to grow group sales categories.

      Monitor weekly results of group sales staff for measuring productivity and results. This includes, but is not limited to: call sheets, referral follow-up, existing client programs, new solicitation and other programs as developed.

      Hold weekly sales meetings to communicate group sales updates and monitor progress toward sales goals.

      Develop and administer regular group sales training for staff to increase skill sets.

      Monitor and track performance of Group Inside Sales Supervisor

      Develop and enhance annual renewal/up-sell campaigns for group customers.

      Organize and maintain weekly sales report updates for Senior Management, sales staff and central accounting office.

 

 

 

 

 

ESSENTIAL SALES FUNCTIONS:

 

       Sell a full menu of New York Red Bulls ticket plans including but not limited to Skyboxes, Full Season Tickets, Partial Plans and Groups

       Exceed established expectations for outbound prospecting calls

       Meet and exceed established sales quotas on weekly, monthly, and yearly basis

       Develop relationships, set face-to-face appointments (both externally and at Red Bull Arena) and show seats to potential customers with the objective to close new and renewal group sales business.

       Continuously look for ways to develop and grow new and existing customer relationships through seat visits, prospecting, referrals and other ticket sales initiatives (sales booths, in-house events and off-site community events).

 

 

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

      Bachelors degree in Marketing, Sales or Business related field

      Must have at least three to five years experience in selling tickets for another professional sports team.

      Strong Customer Service skills.

      Well organized and self motivated.

      Positive attitude and team oriented.

      Excellent knowledge of ticketing software

Inside Sales Department – Ticket Sales
OVERVIEW
The team seeks an individual who will be primarily responsible for selling season, partial and group tickets via telemarketing, electronic mail, fax and other communication means. He/She will also service accounts, work all regular season games performing various duties ranging from fan services, operations to marketing activation. You will be expected to positively contribute to our overall fan base development objectives. The ideal candidate should be aggressive, competitive, professional, mature, self-starting and committed to the sports industry. He/She must demonstrate previous involvement in a wide range of activities or clubs. Prior telemarketing and/or sales experience is preferred but not essential. Any experience working for a team, athletic department, or event is beneficial. Strong communication skills are a necessity. College degree required.
Enrollment in Inside Sales may last up to three (6) months, after which time successful candidates may be offered full-time sales positions or have their program extended. Inside Sales Reps will learn all aspects of the team’s services and programs, and will gain valuable sales experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• 90% of time spent on inside phone work (75-100 calls/day) – 10% on outside events
• Emails and direct mail follow-up with information on programs
• Follow-up phone calls that may include special offers
• Follow-up calls to walk-up buyers, web order lists, data capture lists, etc
• Assisting with gameday activities, including on-field events and Fan Services Table
• Any other special games or projects in need of support
EVALUATION CRITERIA
A number of factors will be considered when evaluating a candidate at the end of the Inside Sales program, including but not limited to sales performance/production.
The minimum sales production for each Inside Sales candidate is $8,000 in ticket revenue per month, and may be broken down to include game-by-game ticket goals as well.
There is no guarantee of full-time employment upon your accepting a position in the Inside Sales program, or after the successful completion of this program.

POSITION PURPOSE:
The Marketing Partnerships Senior Account Executive/Director is responsible for the sales of New York Red Bulls and Red Bull Arena sponsorship assets including but not limited to the following;  TV, digital, radio,  print, publications, onsite activation, promotions, grassroots initiatives, skyboxes and ticket sales. This person will be responsible for creating new sponsors by prospecting and developing new leads as well as creating up-sell opportunities for existing partners.  Involvement in renewal discussions may be required as well.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Create and develop new sales leads, make cold calls, solidify meetings with corporate decision makers, create and deliver dynamic sales presentations, negotiate and close marketing partnership deals.
• Evaluate current assets and create new inventory and opportunities that will drive incremental revenue to the team and arena;
• Achieve and exceed established sales goals and budgets as set by the Director of Marketing Partnerships;
• Attending and contributing in weekly sales meetings;
• Develop and maintain proper sales pipeline reports and databases. Submit written weekly status reports and sales projections to properly track sales and inventory;
• Work closely with other team members on the marketing partnership sales and service teams to achieve departmental goals and objectives;
• Develop and maintain working relationships with all New York Red Bulls and Red Bull Arena staff. Assist and support the overall organizational goals including season ticket sales, marketing, community investment, etc. -- to ensure that initiatives and strategic plans are incorporated into marketing partnership proposals;
• Attend team events/home games and at times away games and out of town sales appointments when approved by management;
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Previous experience in a similar working environment
