Position Summary:

The Assistant to the Ticket Systems Manager is primarily responsible for supporting the Systems Manager.  His role is to work closely with the Sales and Fan Services Staff to ensure a high level of client satisfaction with all ticketing systems, products and support.  Together the manager and the assistant will evaluate the day-to-day ticketing and plan needs as well as work on projects for long term business goals.

-help in creation and management of promo codes

-help in creation of account groups, web groups and lists to assist Account Manager Functionality

-Assist in account merges and cleanup of data

-assist in Fortress card printing and shipping

-assist Box Office Manager in their bulk printing and shipping when necessary

-assist on game days within our Ticket Ops department

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

POSITION PURPOSE:

The New York Red Bulls Brand Representative is part of unique fleet of charming, knowledgeable, entrepreneurial, and dynamic individuals. These Brand Representatives are passionate about the New York Red Bulls and are excited to share their love with current and future Red Bulls fans at unexpected and unique times. POSITION SUMMARY:

The New York Red Bulls are hiring a Communications Assistant. This position reports to the Manager of Communications. This is a part-time, hourly position.

The Communications Assistant will be responsible for all communications and media relations needs surrounding New York Red Bulls II, the organization’s USL affiliate. Responsibilities including writing and distributing press releases, creating weekly media notes, running team social media accounts, and managing game day communications and media relations needs.

Additionally, this position will oversee Communications needs for the New York Red Bulls Academy teams and Red Bulls Training Programs, including writing press releases and maintaining www.RedBullsAcademy.com.

This position will also have opportunities to assist with Communications needs for the New York Red Bulls First team, including assisting with media availabilities and game day responsibilities when scheduling allows.


 

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

Event Marketing Staff - New York Red Bulls (Harrison, NJ)

POSITION PURPOSE: 

The Event Marketing Staff position is designed to provide experience for individuals serious about pursuing a career in special events and event marketing.  The goal of the marketing department is to provide Event Marketing Staff with hands on experience in event management at the premier soccer club in North America.  The Event Marketing Staff schedule is driven primarily by the New York Red Bulls event schedule and remains flexible.  However, regular and consistent commitment to events throughout the regular MLS season is expected. 

 
Event Marketing Staff work directly with Event Marketing Coordinators during all events.  They also work closely with different New York Red Bulls and Red Bull Arena staff, particularly Event Operations Staff, during the course of each event.  They are directly involved in event preparation and activation, engagement with fans, overall event presentation, and enhancing the fan experience for all New York Red Bulls marketing activations and events. Event Marketing Staff are the face of the team and the club during all activations.   

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

-          Execute in-arena event marketing activations including but not limited to The BULLevard pre-match activation space, on-field match presentations, group sales activations, halftime presentations, special awareness and title night activations, and other major marketing initiatives on match-day at Red Bull Arena.

-          Serve as an essential club-to-fan representative for all New York Red Bulls marketing activations at events. 

-          Fully engage fans and inspire them while participating in all activations. 

-          Assist New York Red Bulls marketing team with all aspects of event management. 

-          Coordinate with other New York Red Bulls departments to ensure successful event planning and execution (Event Operations, Partnerships, Premium Services, Sales, Ticketing, Fan Services, Communications, Community Relations, Academy/Training Programs, and First Team Operations). 

-          Assist operations staff when support is required is setting up and breaking down events and equipment. 

-          Consistent season long event attendance is mandatory. 

-          Attendance at marquee club events and MLS Cup Playoff matches is mandatory.    

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

-          Individuals pursuing a career in Sport Management, special events and event marketing are preferred.

-          Must be able to multi-task and follow strict timelines.

-          Possess a strong work ethic, take a leadership approach, and is a self-starter.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The New York Red Bulls are hiring for the position of Manager of Digital & New Media. The position reports directly to the Senior Director of Communications.

Oversee the overall content strategy for the New York Red Bulls, with platform specific execution plans for social, web, video and email. Will also help with the creation and management of content for social media and serve as a liaison with MLS for digital website.

Specific areas of focus include developing consistent and unique voices for the New York Red Bulls for each social media platform; planning and assigning the club’s digital content with a specific focus on driving fan engagement; growing the club’s fan base through the various digital platforms by delivering engaging and compelling content; supporting growth and understanding of the club’s brand, mission, & values; balancing the club’s organic content with sales-related content; overseeing email communications (newsletter, matchday email and promotional messages); and driving revenue through digital ticket sales campaigns and sponsorable digital assets.

The position will lead the Digital & New Media team with the New York Red Bulls, which consists of a total of three people.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Required to perform the job)

 Responsible for the planning and execution of all of the organization’s digital communications platforms, including all social media platforms for both the New York Red Bulls and New York Red Bulls II, along with Red Bull Arena.

Work closely with Senior Director of Communications and social media coordinator to plan and program key social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and Video (YouTube)/Audio sites.

Work closely with Senior Director of Marketing on integrating brand messaging into content; ensuring our mission, values and key pillars are being communicated to fans to help them understand what the club represents.

Work closely with Senior Director of Marketing along with ticket sales and sponsorship to execute and monitor ticket sales and partner-related social media, email and website content, and execute paid media/promoted posts on social channels.

Monitor and aim to implement league-shared best practices across email and social channels.

Responsible for regular web site maintenance efforts including game coverage, posting of articles, press releases, stories, photo galleries and videos.

Responsible for social and digital reporting to create a monthly dashboard highlighting relevant statistics and opportunities.

Work closely with RBNA/RBMH to collaborate on getting RBNY content shared on their networks, amplifying our voice, reaching new audience, and ensuring that we are a part of their content plan.

Collaborate across all organizational departments.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

POSITION SUMMARY

The New York Red Bulls Youth Training Programs are currently looking to add experienced coaches to our player development staff. Positions are available within the following areas:

·         Community programs

·         Travel programs

·         Regional Development School (RDS)

Part-time positions are available in both NJ and NY including Westchester, NYC and Long Island. Coaches are eligible to receive up to a maximum of $1000 for out of state travel relocation expenses.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Required to perform the job)

·         Required to be available five (5) afternoons/evenings per week plus weekends.

·         Required to be available Tuesday and Thursday mornings for staff training workshops

·         Working hours will be approximately 20 to 30 hours per week, over an eight to nine month period. A full availability coach typically works 6-7 days per week from March – November. This included coaching, administration duties and educational workshop attendance.

·         A coach’s working week is comprised of on field coaching hours, administration duties and attendance at mandatory staff training workshops in the spring and fall seasons. Both elements are paid at an hourly rate.

·         Employment typically begins mid to late March and runs through to late November or August and runs through to late November. The exact start and end dates are based upon the needs of each youth partner club.

·         Coaches who commit to a full availability employment contract also receive preferential assignments to double camp programs (30 hours per week) plus Residential camps. Additionally, coaches will also receive priority in scheduling of winter hours.

·         Coach is guaranteed a minimum of 180 coaching hours in the spring and fall season plus a minimum of one (1) 15 hour camp per week of the summer.

·         Coaches who commit to a full availability employment contract also receive preferential assignments to double camp programs (30 hours per week) plus Residential camps. Additionally, coaches will also receive priority in scheduling of winter hours.

·         Required to attend a mandatory paid pre-season orientation event

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

Candidates must also hold a valid driving license and have their own vehicle for transportation

Candidates must have a clean criminal record
Must have 3 years previous coaching experience
Hold a recognized coaching qualification
Be over the age of 18

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of a USSF D license (2015+ USSF E license) or NSCAA National Diploma
