POSITION SUMMARY:  The New York Red Bulls seek a highly-motivated individual to join the club’s Communications Department on a part-time basis. This individual will help create communications and digital plans for the team’s academy, community relations and training programs arms to raise awareness of the club. This individual will also assist in a number of sports communications responsibilities and will be a point of contact for media tracking.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Required to perform the job)

 

       Develop communications and digital content plans for other departments within the club (community relations, academy, training programs) and be the primary contact for requests and outreach.

       Create and develop media and digital content (press releases, media website, online written content, social media)

       Serve as a contact for media accreditation requests for New York Red Bulls home games and Red Bull Arena events

       Oversee migration of academy and training programs content onto newyorkredbulls.com

       Help develop content for NewYorkRedBulls.com

       Assist in overseeing home game communications operations

       Serve as a contact for media monitoring of Red Bulls coverage as well as development of monthly reports

       Assist in communications pitch development and execution

       Other duties as assigned by the communications department
 

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

        Knowledge of Microsoft Office

EDUCATION

 

-          Bachelor’s degree is required

 

EXPERIENCE

 

-          Experience working for a professional or college sports team in team’s communications department strongly preferred

-          Understanding of New York/New Jersey market strongly preferred

-          Ideal candidate will be professional, motivated and enthusiastic

-          Must have excellent interpersonal and external communications skills, both written and oral

-          Must have the ability to communicate with all levels of an organization, from executives to interns

-          Familiarity with digital platforms (eg. Drupal) and social media a plus

-          Ability to maintain strong working relationships with all internal staff and management

-          Must be detail-orientated, ability to handle multiple tasks in a timely and professional manner, be well organized and able to prioritize efficiently, and take initiative.

-          Must have some understanding of soccer

POSITION SUMMARY
 The Fan Services Account Executive is directly responsible for all revenue goals associated with a defined base of existing season ticket holders, including renewals, referrals, add-ons, groups and upgrades. This is achieved by providing world-class service, building excellent relationships with accounts, and delivering customized communications, events, programs, and benefits to the Red Bulls’ season ticket holders. Not only does the Fan Services Account Executive strive to improve season ticket holder retention rates by enhancing the fan experience, but a strong emphasis is also placed on growing the full season ticket holder base through referrals and prospecting.

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Required to perform the job)

 Manage, upsell and renew a  personal portfolio of New York Red Bulls’ season ticket holders

 Deliver a superior customer experience by building and maintaining long-lasting relationships, providing proactive service and exceeding STH/fan expectations

 Assist in coordinating annual season ticket holder events, mailings, gifting, renewal campaigns, brochure designs, relocation events, and fence-sitter initiatives

 Liaise between internal and external departments to ensure all STHs’ expectations are being met

Inside Sales Department – Ticket Sales
OVERVIEW
The team seeks an individual who will be primarily responsible for selling season, partial and group tickets via telemarketing, electronic mail, fax and other communication means. He/She will also service accounts, work all regular season games performing various duties ranging from fan services, operations to marketing activation. You will be expected to positively contribute to our overall fan base development objectives. The ideal candidate should be aggressive, competitive, professional, mature, self-starting and committed to the sports industry. He/She must demonstrate previous involvement in a wide range of activities or clubs. Prior telemarketing and/or sales experience is preferred but not essential. Any experience working for a team, athletic department, or event is beneficial. Strong communication skills are a necessity. College degree required.
Enrollment in Inside Sales may last between six (6) and nine (9) months, after which time successful candidates may be offered full-time sales positions or have their program extended. Inside Sales Reps will learn all aspects of the team’s services and programs, and will gain valuable sales experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• 90% of time spent on inside phone work (100 calls/day) – 10% on outside events
• Emails and direct mail follow-up with information on programs
• Follow-up phone calls that may include special offers
• Follow-up calls to walk-up buyers, web order lists, data capture lists, etc
• Assisting with gameday activities, including on-field events and Fan Services Table
• Any other special games or projects in need of support
EVALUATION CRITERIA
A number of factors will be considered when evaluating a candidate at the end of the Inside Sales program, including but not limited to sales performance/production.
The minimum sales production for each Inside Sales candidate is $8,000 in ticket revenue per month, and may be broken down to include game-by-game ticket goals as well.
There is no guarantee of full-time employment upon your accepting a position in the Inside Sales program, or after the successful completion of this program.

POSITION SUMMARY

Looking for an enthusiastic and charismatic team member that is knowledgeable of soccer to assist in Red Bull Arena’s Premium Areas on Match Days. Team members will provide a premium, upbeat and positive client experience at all New York Red Bulls home matches and other select events. Team members will act as brand ambassadors for the team and will be responsible for fan interaction before, during and after the match (or event). Team members will greet all VIP guests, assist with check-in, escort to seats as needed, and interact with all premium clients to ensure each guest’s experience at Red Bull Arena is a first-class and memorable.

Team members are required to work approximately 5 hours for all NYRB home matches (time commitments for other events is TBD).
