Description: The Red Bull New York Ticket Operations department is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Ticket Operations Intern. Description
The New York Red Bulls Training Programs comprises of grass-root coaching, summer camps, and a coach education program. The goal of the RBNY Academy system is to help develop young talent, provide training support to local volunteer coaches, assist in the development of youth soccer organizations and to serve as a means to identifying and train talented players that one day may go on and play at the highest level.

Position Purpose

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  •  Supporting role in executing marketing programs such as support for the RBNY Street Team (event schedule, timesheets, preparing mission reports and collateral), manage merchandise and collateral inventory, manage the RBNY volunteer program, general soccer research, off-site event planning and execution, involvement in the team’s community relations program and grassroots marketing initiatives.
  •  Available to attend all home matches. Responsibilities may include executing field tours, Arena tours, running matchday surveys, staffing sales/marketing booths, setting up and tearing down Interactive Zone elements, managing in-stadium promotions, assisting with pre-match, halftime and post-match activities.
  •  Hours can range 20 – 30 hours per week, in addition to matches and special events. Interns must be available on some nights and weekends.

Description:

Responsibilities:

  •  Compiling key information about potential marketing partner prospects

Red Bull Arena Operations Internship - Fall 2015 - New York Red Bulls (Harrison, NJ)

POSITION PURPOSE:.

The Red Bull Arena Operations Department comprises of various duties for all events held at Red Bull Arena and others done by Red Bull New York. The goal of the Operations department is to provide students with exposure within a multi-use venue and professional sports organization. Our interns are given a great deal of responsibility while working with other RBNY departments.  This is an unpaid internship and the candidate must receive college credit for the experience. Internship is typically from January to May, May to August, or August to December.

Interns will be working closely with the operations staff, specifically, the events leading up to game days through post game duties. Due to the dynamic nature and diversity of work required in operations, it would be unrealistic to expect strictly outlined functions to apply in every case. Functions may overlap categories at any given point in time.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

·         Aid in the daily and event operations of Red Bull Arena.

·         Coordinate with other departments to ensure successful event planning and execution.

·         Assist in and around the office and practice facilities, performing various tasks.

·         Weekday schedules are flexible, approx 25-40 hours per week (more is possible due to events).

·         Game day attendance will be mandatory (commonly weekends and some nights with full day attendance).

Youth Soccer Coach - New York Red Bulls (Harrison, NJ)

The New York Red Bulls are always looking to add qualified and experienced soccer coaches to the training programs player development staff. Coaches will be required to work with both teams and individual players of all ages and abilities. The positions available are within the New York Red Bulls community based training programs.

About the New York Red Bulls Academy

The New York Red Bulls Academy System is a multi-layered program that provides a professional soccer training environment for youth players. The soccer programs are operated as part of the Red Bulls global approach to player development. With soccer academies in Austria, Germany, Brazil and New York, the Red Bulls are able to draw on extensive support and expertise to offer the highest level of youth soccer programs in the New York and New Jersey area. There are four levels which make up the pyramid. At the base is our Training Programs which serves players at the grassroots level. The next level, our Regional Development School, operates as a satellite program for talented players that are looking for additional soccer training. Additionally, the RDS also acts as a recruitment platform for our academy teams. At the academy level, players are selected to represent Red Bulls teams; where players can ultimately progress to the Red Bulls First Team. The Red Bulls provide soccer training and education to players, coaches, parents and soccer organizations throughout the local area.
