POSITION SUMMARY:
The Philadelphia Union is looking for high-energy, motivated sellers to join our 50/50 raffle sales team for the 2015 season.

JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS:
• Approach fans pre-game and in-game to explain the details of the 50/50 raffle program and to sell raffle tickets.
• Accurately handle the sale and distribution of the tickets, following program requirements.
• Answer questions fans may have about the program.
• Turn in all cash and tickets to Coordinator several times throughout and at the end of game-day.

•Hours: Arrive 2.0 hours pre-kick. Shift ends 20-30 minutes after the game ends.


QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent education
• Prior experience handling cash
• Ability to interact positively with large fan base
• Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Strong sales skills

Sales & Marketing: Community Relations
After School Coach (Part Time) - Philadelphia Union Foundation (Chester, PA)

The Philadelphia Union Foundation is a 501©3 and the charitable arm of the MLS team the Philadelphia Union. The Foundation is looking for reliable, hard-working staff members to assist with an after-school soccer program in Chester, PA. Qualified candidates will enjoy working with children from a diverse community and they will be able to commit to the whole season (two months). Responsibilities will include group activity, game facilitation, and general monitoring and mentorship of the participants.

The program runs three times per week from April 6th to June 6th and then again from September to November. Monday and Wednesday program starts at 5:00pm (4:30pm set-up) and ends at 6:30pm. Saturday mornings are reserved for intramural games from 10:00am – 12:00pm and are required for staff members.

The CCU soccer program will be held at the large and small fields at STEM High School. 1100 W. 10th Street, Chester PA 19013. Street parking is available.  With this experience, there is also an opportunity to work as a camp counselor for the week-long CCU summer camp being held in early August of this year.

$15/hour with an estimate of 45 hours per season.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the setup and breakdown of the Toyota Plaza

Assist corporate partners with activation prior to each home game

Assist with all sponsorship pre-game, halftime and post-game promotions

Assist with youth soccer clinics (as needed)

Soccer Development Intern:

Interns will be responsible for assisting with youth developmental programs for the Philadelphia Union. The U Crew: Promotional Street Team - Philadelphia Union (Chester, PA)

Philadelphia Union is seeking season-long (March-October) Event / Promotional Marketing interns and volunteers to promote the Union brand at events, festivals, street fairs, local schools/universities, restaurants and gameday (i.e., Toyota Plaza, pre-game, and halftime) activities.

A majority of your time spent as a Street Team Member will be to serve as a brand ambassador for Philadelphia Union.  We are seeking bright, motivated, reliable and positive people for our street team members. This is a great way to gain a strong educational base in marketing while working for a professional soccer club in Major League Soccer. 

We are searching for candidate who are outgoing and enthusiastic about promoting Philadelphia Union throughout the local area.   Applicants must be 18 years or older and have a reliable form of transportation. Additional requirements will be discussed if considered for the position.

Applicants should be available for all Philadelphia Union home matches in 2015.  (March-October, 18 on avg.) 
Applicants can use this position as an internship to recieve college credit or on a volunteer basis to gain experience.
