The Philadelphia Union Foundation is a 501©3 and the charitable arm of the MLS team the Philadelphia Union. The Foundation is looking for reliable, hard-working staff members to assist with a soccer program Chester, PA. Qualified candidates will enjoy working with children from a diverse community and they will be able to commit to the work hours:

Spring League = April 1 – June 1

  • 5:00PM – 6:30PM, Mondays & Wednesdays.

  • 10:00AM – 12:00PM, Saturdays.

Summer Camp = August 3-7

  • 9:00AM – 12:00PM, Monday through Friday

Fall League = September 1 – November 1

  • 5:00PM – 6:30PM, Mondays & Wednesdays.

  • 10:00AM – 12:00PM, Saturdays.

Responsibilities will include group activity, game facilitation, and general monitoring and mentorship of the participants.

The CCU soccer program will be held at the large and small fields at STEM High School. 1100 W. 10th Street, Chester PA 19013. Street parking is available. 

$15/hour

The Multicultural Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting the marketing and communications department, as well as assist with all front office day-to-day operations. Soccer Development Intern:

Interns will be responsible for assisting with youth developmental programs for the Philadelphia Union. This program will provide interns an opportunity to gain valuable experience not only learning the day-to-day tasks in running a successful soccer program from within the front office, but will provide valuable field experience for interns as well. Interns will play key roles in administering Philadelphia Union Summer Select and Union Day Camps sites, conduct Union Soccer Schools Tours and assist with Philadelphia Union tournament operations. During the internship you will have the opportunity to be involved in the creation of an innovative Union event that will assist in driving relevance in the market place.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Union Academy Operations Intern:

• Responsibilities include operational planning, set-up, and management for Philadelphia Union Youth Academy Events
• Coordinate operational staffing needs and serve as liaison to all game day operational entities including, but not limited to visiting team, officials, police, EMS, ticket takers, ushers, guest services, grounds, housekeeping, facilities management, emergency management, technical services, information technology, disability management, and parking and traffic

Responsibilities include:
• Sell Merchandise to fans and customers utilizing Point-Of-Sale (POS) registers
• Accurate cash management and handling
