Job Description

Minnesota United FC has created a hands-on learning experience for students and recent graduates looking to gain an understanding of a MLS Academy.  The MNUFC Academy Internship offers unpaid, part-time positions (15-20 hours per week) in various facets of the Academy. This role provides a unique educational experience and a behind-the-scenes look into various elements associated with the Academy program. The participants will be supervised by the Academy General Manager and Director of Camps & Youth Programs.

Learning Objectives  

·         Learn about various administrative roles in the MNUFC Academy, including the Development

Academy, club partnerships, camps, clinics, events, and tryouts

·         Gain hands-on experience in the marketing, administration, and facilitation of camps

·         Learn about and participate in MNUFC Academy communications, including its website content creation and social media presence

·         Under supervision from the Academy General Manager, ensure successful set-up and

execution of Academy home matches

·         Possible travel to away Academy matches

 Requirements

·         Recent graduate or current student working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree with an emphasis in a related field

·         Interest and experience in competitive sports environment, soccer preferred

·         Previous experience in event management is preferred

·         Strong work-ethic and proactive attitude are essential

·         Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

·         Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Job Description:
This is a full-time, entry-level position. Your primary focus will be on selling Minnesota United FC season ticket sales packages. Prospects are targeted through new business initiatives and mining our current database via phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings. This position is located in Golden Valley, MN.

Responsibilities:

  • Maximize ticket sales and ticket sales revenue through execution of meetings, sales calls, and networking events
  • Exemplify the core characteristics of a strong sales culture, including strong interpersonal skills, prompt and professional follow-through, openness to new ideas and suggestions, and constant enthusiasm toward internal and external contacts

Brand Ambassadors will act as the highly energetic and engaging faces of MNUFC. Brand Ambassadors will then bring that vision to life through consistent messaging and interactions with people through conversation and experiences. As a Brand Ambassador, you will receive a behind-the-scenes look at how to execute large and small events as well as how to engage with fans and people in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area to continue to grow a fan base.This is a part-time position.

Responsibilities

-          Execute a consistent brand experience by knowing and embodying the MNUFC brand -   Tell our story in a consistent and energetic fashion

Job Description

Members of our Game Day Staff will work at all Minnesota United FC home matches during the 2017 season. This part-time position focuses on the preparation and execution of home matches, and creating a positive fan experience. Game Day Staff will benefit from an in-depth look behind the scenes of a professional sporting event, and will have the opportunity to work with professionals from a wide range of departments and levels. There are exciting opportunities for those who work hard and prove themselves to take on additional responsibilities and duties.  You will report to and serve as a liaison for the Game Day Manager and Operations Coordinator.

Essential Responsibilities

·         Aid in the execution and organization of game set up, experience, and tear down

·         Monitor and manage various stadium amenities and areas during each game

·         Oversee and assist gate entry and ticket taking process

·         Operate guest services booth to handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints

·         Serve as liaison for various departments

·         Be assertive and friendly to any and all fans in attendance

·         Other duties as assigned

Requirements

·         Able to work at all of Minnesota United FC’s home games.

·         Ability to stand and be active long periods of time

The Junior Coach will help run the Minnesota United FC Camps and training sessions around the Twin Cities metro.  This flexible, part time, seasonal position reports to the Lead Coach at each camp and training session, as well as the Director of Camps & Youth Development. Please note that this is a part time, contract, seasonal position working with youth camps only.  It is not a position working with the professional players or the Academy.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Lead Coach in coaching camp and training session attendees as age-appropriate.

Job Description

We are looking for a person who lives and breathes creativity, and who loves generating ideas and concepts for everything from big, original platforms to smaller social media tactics. We’d like someone with a strong integrated agency type background that includes events, media planning, creative, digital, social, experiential, B2B and B2C. The position reports to the Senior Vice President, Marketing & Communications. This position is located in Golden Valley, MN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs the planning and execution of MNUFC advertising campaigns, including media planning and creative to drive ticket sales and brand growth
  • Develop creative narratives (design, messaging, voice, content, advertising & promotions execution) that bring these experiences to life across linear and digital channels – in collaboration with ticket sales, production, sponsorship/premium seating, digital, community relations, production and PR teams, as well as agencies
  • Ensure the brand messaging and creative direction is embraced in all communications (internal/external) and customer experiences
  • Develops and maintains relationships with media partners to place media, track advertising, and execute promotions
  • Manages fulfillment of trade and promotional agreements as needed
  • Manages the internal creative requests to projects in a timely manner
  • Mangers all internal media assets, including in-stadium, MNUFC.COM, emails, social media, TV/radio broadcasts, etc. to drive revenue and growth of programs
  • Works closely with digital, production and communications to ensure a holistic approach to all marketing messaging and ad campaigns

Job Description:

Minnesota Untied FC is looking for a summer Ticket Operations Intern. This position is an unpaid, part-time, for credit role. The primary focus is assisting the Ticket Operations Manager with growing and cleaning the sales database, creating/editing reports, and assisting in the box office on game days.  This position is highly analytical and technology-based, but requires business development sense and an entrepreneurial spirit as well. 

Responsibilities: 

·         Create and maintain patron records in CRM system

·         Assist with managing the sales database

·         Enter data captured from events, contests, and games into the system

·         Develop new leads and enter them into the system

·         Organize, set up, troubleshoot and tear down the box office area and equipment to be ready for game day needs

·         On game days, assist in the box office, answer questions for patrons, and run the ticketing system

·         Create and analyze complex sales reports for use by upper management

Requirements:

·         Technological aptitude; the ability to troubleshoot complex systems and solve reporting problems

·         Team player with a positive attitude, self-confidence, professionalism, resourcefulness, integrity, motivation, and a very strong work ethic

·         Excellent verbal and written skills

·         Very strong Microsoft Excel skills

·         Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

·         Must be able to earn credit through your institution

Preferred:

·         Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

·         Paciolan/Spectra systems experience.

·         Automatic season ticket renewal experience.

Job Description

The Ticket Sales Intern position is a part-time, unpaid, for credit position. The primary focus is assisting the ticket sales and service managers and staff. A career with Minnesota United will allow you to merge a passion for sales and soccer, professional growth, and a unique career in professional sports.

·         Support a positive sales culture within the sales team, as well as the entire front office

·         Communicate effectively and professionally with all internal and external contacts

·         Enter data captured from events, contests, and games into the system

·         Develop new leads and enter them into the system

·         Other duties as assigned by Senior Director of Ticket Sales
