FC Dallas Foundation 50/50 Raffle Sales Associate - FC Dallas (Frisco, TX)

This position will be the driving sales force behind the 50/50 Raffle Program benefiting the FC Dallas Foundation. This seasonal position will start in late March and run through the conclusion of the playoffs for all FC Dallas games.

A 50/50 raffle is a raffle that will take place at all home games of the team in accordance with Texas law, where one lucky winner will receive 50% of the jack pot (after allowable expenses) from that game, while the team foundation and a beneficiary will split the other 50% of the net proceeds.

The ideal candidate will be a punctual, hard-working and enthusiastic salesperson with excellent communications skills. This employee will be responsible for the sale of raffle tickets at each match to help benefit the charities selected by the FC Dallas Foundation as well as the foundation.

Job Duties:

  • Game night selling of raffle tickets to FC Dallas fans within Toyota Stadium in either a stationary kiosk location or as a roaming sales representative.
  • Accepting and accounting for large sums of cash at each match.
  • Communication of the 50/50 raffle rules and procedures clearly to potential customers.
  • Reconciling sales at the end of the match.

Housekeeping Attendant - FC Dallas (Frisco, TX)

Toyota stadium in Frisco is looking for housekeeping workers to work on an as needed basis during events at our stadium and complex. Under the general supervision of the Housekeeping Manager and Housekeeping Supervisor, the employee has the primary responsibility for cleaning the stadium in such a way to promote health and safety while reducing the spread of infection. It is the role of the housekeeper to follow daily and occasion cleaning including, but not limited to, the offices areas, hallways, lounges, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, kitchens, restrooms, concourses, soccer fields and entrances so that health standards are met. The housekeeper may also be responsible for performing additional duties not stipulated below. If so, these duties are specified as an addendum to this description.


Duties:

  • Perform any combination of light cleaning duties
  • Clean lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met.
  • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
  • Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
  • Maintain floor cleanliness using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
  • Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
  • Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Polish accessories and metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.

  • Dust window blinds, sills, furniture, and electronics.
  • Move and arrange furniture.
  • Observe precautions required to protect self and guest property, and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
  • Prepare work areas prior to events, and arrange equipment, and furniture for functions.
  • Wash dishes and clean kitchens, cooking utensils, and silverware.

Human Resources Manager - FC Dallas & Toyota Stadium (Frisco, TX)

A member of Major League Soccer since its inception in 1996, FC Dallas is owned and operated by FCD Holdings. The professional team plays from March to November at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas. One of the first soccer-specific stadiums built in the United States, the venue plays host to Major League Soccer matches, concerts, international soccer matches and high school football. The 145-acre Toyota Soccer Center also includes 17 regulation-sized, tournament-grade soccer fields and is also home to the organization’s nationally-renowned youth development system.  Toyota Stadium is the future home of the National Soccer Hall of Fame.

Position Information:  This is a Generalist position that manages the employment process for TEAM Toyota Stadium (event staff.) Responsible for recruiting, identifying viable candidates, sourcing candidates, interviewing, selection and establishing external recruiting efforts.  Manage the TEAM TS new-hire administration process, training and employee relations.  Act as a resource for FC Dallas Front Office staff.

Job Responsibilities: 

  1. Manage the staffing guides per department budget; number of positions per department and maintain database of open and closed positions.
  2. Maintain and further develop list of recruiting sources within the community, sports & entertainment venues and develop relationships with all levels of the education system.
  3. Conduct Job Fairs on-site, at High Schools, colleges/universities, PTA’s, churches, community centers and participate in other organized metroplex Job Fairs
  4. Post positions on media outlets and source applicants on TeamWork On-line and refer viable candidates to hiring managers.  Develop applicant flow strategy to facilitate hires in the departments.
  5. Manage all on-boarding processes for Team TS new hires, payroll administration and maintain files. 
  6. Conduct New Hire Orientation & Guest Services Training for all TEAM TS New Hires, follow-up on new hire training.
  7. Monitor staff behavior, proper uniforms and guest service delivery during stadium events which includes FC Dallas matches, concerts, International Soccer matches, music festivals, NCAA Football games.   Ensure compliance of established company policies and procedures.
  8. Manage the disciplinary action process; address employee issues and concerns with Department Director/Supervisor.  Participate in coaching and counseling sessions and employee separations. 
  9. Maintain all I-9’s in compliance with federal regulations.
  10. Be a source and resource for information on FCD benefits, administer and develop policies and procedures for organization.
  11. Participate and assist in execution of all FCD staff events, to include team building activities, holiday parties, open enrollment and benefits & wellness fairs.
  12. Process TWC unemployment claims, participate and/or conduct hearings.
  13. Manage Internship program; posting, recruiting, sourcing and placement of 55+ Interns annually.  Act as coordinator and supervisor for the HR interns for each semester. Facilitate onboarding and orientation for all interns.
  14. Plan and execute monthly Intern networking events.
  15. Work with Hiring Managers and FCD Management to edit and update TEAM TS employee handbook, policies and procedures.
  16. Initiate and review all background checks for all FC Front office staff, TEAM TS, FCD Youth Coaches and interns.
  17. Assist Vice President, HR as requested.
  18. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, Sports Management or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of principals and practices of human resources, including employment and labor laws.
  • Knowledge of HRIS Database.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of employees and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to manage many projects and functions concurrently.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs, to include Excel, Word, Outlook, Publisher and PowerPoint.

MoneyGram Soccer Park is a new Soccer facility located in northwest Dallas near the intersection of Walnut Hill Lane and Goodnight Lane. FC Dallas Management will manage, operate and maintain the facility on behalf of the City of Dallas to host local, regional and international tournaments, league play, clinics and various sporting activities. The MoneyGram Soccer Complex will include a 138 acre, $31 million dollar athletic park and will feature 19 soccer fields including 14 equipped with lights. The groundskeepers will assist the Director of Grounds in overseeing all maintenance of the fields at MoneyGram Soccer Park fields.

Job Purpose: Maintain the grounds and fields of MoneyGram Soccer Park in Dallas, TX. 

Job Duties

•Assist in keeping MoneyGram Soccer Park tidy, organized and safe.
•Waters all plants, flowers and grass on property by hand, sprinkler or other methods as needed.
•Mow and trim all lawn areas.
•Pulls weeds by hand or uses “weed wacker” as appropriate.
