Facility Service Worker - FC Dallas (Frisco, TX)

FC Dallas stadium in Frisco is looking for facilities services workers. Under the general supervision of the Facilities Services Coordinator and Housekeeping Manager, the employee has the primary responsibility for cleaning the stadium in such a way to promote health and safety while reducing the spread of infection. The custodian will keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. It is the role of the custodian to follow daily, weekly and monthly cleaning including, but not limited to, the offices areas, locker rooms, kitchens, restrooms, storage areas and entrances. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk. The custodian may also be responsible for performing additional duties not stipulated below.  These additional duties may include general building maintenance, laundry, painting, vehicle maintenance, etc.

Bilingual or Spanish speaking preferred

Job Duties:
•Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
•Gather and empty trash.
•Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
•Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
•Clean windows, partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other chemicals/cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
•Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
•Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
•Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
•Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
•Drive vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work, including RTV’s and forklifts. Will train.
•Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
•Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after entering to ensure that hazards are not created.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.
• Use blowers and power washers to clear debris from concourses, sidewalks, and streets.
•Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
•Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, using snow shovels and spread snow melting chemicals.
•Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
•Spray insecticides and fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestation.

  • Assist in keeping FC Dallas Soccer Complex tidy, organized and safe.
  • Maintaining comples staging area by working neatly and organized
  • Assist with site set up of plant materials.
  • Assist with keeping FC Dallas Stadium and soccer complex landscape maintained by mowing, edging, blowing, etc.

The Premium Seating Account Executive is responsible for generating new business through the sale of FC Dallas premium seating inventory, including but not limited to the selling of club and center circle club seats, field tables, loge seats, and single game luxury suites through cold-calling, face-to-face appointments and networking opportunities.
 

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years sales experience with a professional sports organization, preferably in premium/suite/hospitality sales.
 

 

Duties

  • Prospect, establish, research and close premium seating sales leads through cold-calling, appointments and networking.
  • Meet or exceed weekly/monthly sales and prospecting goals
  • Work closely with management team to achieve sales and prospecting goals
  • Maintain a high level of customer service with all sales relationships in the marketplace
  • Participate in various sales, team and community events as assigned
  • Represent organization at various in-market networking events
  • Active role in the FC Dallas game day experience
  • Maintain accurate records in support of sales efforts as defined by the organization

The Retail Sales Associate will be primarily responsible for providing first rate retail customer service to all patrons at the merchandising locations throughout FC Dallas Stadium. This position is a part time position and is based around the events held at the stadium, complex and facility. The sales associate may also assist in the FC Dallas Team Store during regular store hours.

 Job Duties:

  • Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly, clean, and well- maintained retail merchandise environment

FC Dallas Stadium is looking for qualified individuals to join our 2013 Security Event Staff.  The security event staff are responsible for ensuring a safe and fun atmosphere during all events at FC Dallas Stadium.

Job Duties include:

  • Bag checking at each gate leading into stadium to ensure no prohibited items enter the stadium.
  • Provide concourse security on inside perimeter of stadium by monitoring and patrolling activity.
  • Provide outside perimeter security.
  • Checking credentials and tickets to ensure that only authorized personnel enter into specific areas of the stadium and complex.
  • Provide field security for players and officials by monitoring activity on and around stadium field(s).
  • Provide security in the locker rooms
  • As a team, provide all access control in  and around FC Dallas Stadium and soccer complex.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to resolve complicated customer service issues with fans.
  • Previous experience in stadium or event services.
  • Willingness and ability to act as authority figure when needed.

Sales & Marketing: Ticket Sales
Soccer Sales Representative - FC Dallas (Frisco, TX)

The Soccer Sales Representative will be responsible for producing revenue through the sale of season ticket and group ticket products, including premium inventory (Suites, Loge, Field Tables, etc.), hospitality packages, as well as flex packs and partial season ticket plans. Direct functions include development and service of new business and past customers – primarily local soccer associations and establishments – as well as a commitment to building relationships.

The individual must demonstrate a high level of energy and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly verbal, as well as strong organizational skills. He/she will be required to make no less than 55-65 calls per day and have a strong interest in selling professional sports entertainment. This position is a salaried position that includes full health and dental benefits, in addition to commissions paid on products sold.
 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Meeting or exceeding weekly, monthly and/or long term sales goals in the areas of season ticket products and packages
  • Prospecting, qualifying and setting sales appointments at FC Dallas Stadium
  • Maintaining electronic account records for the upkeep of the department’s CRM database
  • Working in harmony with team members and those from other departments
  • Building and fostering beneficial relationships with existing and new accounts
  • Providing excellent customer care and quality service to our customers
  •  Working home games as a means of servicing clients and prospecting new business
  • Meeting or exceeding call minimums
  • Assisting supervisor with sales campaigns, events and activities
  • Taking inbound calls and individual game ticket orders during a portion of the work day and up-selling and cross-selling a full menu of various ticket products and services to prospects and customers of FC Dallas

Position Requirements:

  • Strong and detailed follow-up skills both in selling and managing accounts
  • 2-4 years of sales experience, preferably in sports
  • Must be self-disciplined, motivated and manage time effectively
  • Must be willing to work long hours, flexible schedules and weekends
  • Competitive and committed, but also capable of working in a team environment
  • College degree required, preferably in marketing, communications, sports management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
