2014 Team Toyota Stadium - Housekeeping Attendant - FC Dallas (Frisco, TX)

 FC Dallas and Toyota stadium in Frisco are looking for housekeeping workers to work on an as needed basis during events at our stadium and complex. Under the general supervision of the Housekeeping Manager and Housekeeping Supervisor, the employee has the primary responsibility for cleaning the stadium in such a way to promote health and safety while reducing the spread of infection. It is the role of the housekeeper to follow daily and occasion cleaning including, but not limited to, the offices areas, hallways, lounges, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, kitchens, restrooms, concourses, soccer fields and entrances so that health standards are met. The housekeeper may also be responsible for performing additional duties not stipulated below. If so, these duties are specified as an addendum to this description.


Duties:

  • Perform any combination of light cleaning duties
  • Clean lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met.
  • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
  • Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
  • Maintain floor cleanliness using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
  • Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
  • Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Polish accessories and metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.
  • Remove debris from concourses, sidewalks, and playing fields.
  • Replenish supplies such as chemicals, paper goods, and bathroom items.
  • Load washing machines and fold dried items.
  • Wash windows, walls, ceilings, partitions, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
  • Request repair services and wait for repair workers to arrive.
  • Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides..
  • Dust window blinds, sills, furniture, and electronics.
  • Move and arrange furniture.
  • Observe precautions required to protect self and guest property, and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
  • Prepare work areas prior to events, and arrange equipment, and furniture for functions.
  • Wash dishes and clean kitchens, cooking utensils, and silverware.
  • Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.
  • Inform supervisors of product supplies to keep stocked.

Qualifications:

  • Reliable transportation.
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and some holidays.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work in all outdoor weather conditions to include, extreme heat, cold and rain
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a preferred.

Ticket Taker/Ushers Job Duties:

  • Greet guests as they enter the facility.
  • Scan guest’s tickets using electronic scanner upon entrance into the stadium.
  • Assist guests in locating their seats and/or stadium amenities, such as restrooms, concessions stands, and merchandise locations.
  • Distribute promotional items as guests enter and exit the stadium.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting fans in any way possible and ensuring they have a great experience at Toyota Stadium.
  • Watch for prohibited items to ensure patrons do not enter the stadium with any unauthorized items.
  • Watch for inappropriate behavior and take appropriate actions.
  • Resolve customer service issues or work with supervisors if unable to do so alone.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in outdoor working conditions to include extreme heat, cold or rain.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Facility Service Worker - FC Dallas (Frisco, TX)

Toyota stadium & Soccer Center in Frisco is looking for facilities services workers. Under the general supervision of the Facilities Services Coordinator and Housekeeping Manager, the employee has the primary responsibility for cleaning the stadium in such a way to promote health and safety while reducing the spread of infection. The custodian will keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. It is the role of the custodian to follow daily, weekly and monthly cleaning including, but not limited to, the offices areas, locker rooms, kitchens, restrooms, storage areas and entrances. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk. The custodian may also be responsible for performing additional duties not stipulated below.  These additional duties may include general building maintenance, laundry, painting, vehicle maintenance, etc.

**Bilingual or Spanish speaking preferred**

Job Duties:
•Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
•Gather and empty trash.
•Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
•Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
•Clean windows, partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other chemicals/cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
•Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
•Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
•Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
•Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
•Drive vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work, including RTV’s and forklifts. Will train.
•Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
•Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after entering to ensure that hazards are not created.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.
• Use blowers and power washers to clear debris from concourses, sidewalks, and streets.
•Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
•Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, using snow shovels and spread snow melting chemicals.
•Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
•Spray insecticides and fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestation.

 FC Dallas of Major League Soccer is seeking passionate and highly motivated sales professionals to join the Premium Sales Team as an Account Executive.

The ideal candidate must be an established, successful salesperson with proven results. The ability to build and cultivate relationships with corporate leaders in the Dallas/Fort Worth market through cold calling, face-to-face appointments and networking is essential. This person will be accountable to sell premium seats for FC Dallas & Toyota Stadium over a yearly and match-by-match basis.

Duties
•Prospect and cultivate premium season seat holder clientele through phone calls, emails, face to face appointments, in stadium presentations, and inbound inquires
•Execute meetings, calls, and presentations with high level corporate executives and high wealth individuals
•Sell premium season seat and group packages for FC Dallas
•Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales and productivity goals as outlined by the Manager of Premium Sales
•Provide weekly activity summaries as outlined by the Manager of Premium Sales
•Maintain a high level of customer service with all sales relationships in the marketplace
•Active role in the FC Dallas game day experience
•Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree required – preferably in Sports Marketing
•Minimum of two (2) years ticket sales or high end premium sales experience required
•Experience selling in Dallas/Fort Worth a plus
•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to communicate effectively with prospects, customers and internal team
•Excellent time management and organizational skills a must
•Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
