The Hispanic Ticket Sales Account Executive is responsible for the development of new business with a specific focus and emphasis on the generation of new tickets sales to individuals, groups and businesses in the Greater Dallas/Ft. Worth area. AE will be responsible for selling via phone, prospecting, personal appointments, and at games and will sell full season tickets, partial flex plans, group packages, family/premium item packages, fundraising programs, player appearances, coaches’ clinics and other FC Dallas assets and initiatives.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for prospecting through phone calls and setting face-to-face meetings
Cold-calling/lead building to generate new sales
Focus on building relationships and providing full service to Tiendas and soccer adult and youth Hispanic leagues
Create, coordinate and implement effective sales techniques and campaigns in order to obtain revenue goals
Create and execute value added promotional concepts to compliment sales packages
Maintain accurate records and weekly reporting of all prospecting activities and closed sales
Promote FC Dallas through representation in community activities and civic organizations
Game day responsibilities include assisting with sales initiatives, and/or prospecting clients at stadium

Marketing Functions:

FC Dallas and Pizza Hut Park is looking for a marketing intern to assist the Sales and Marketing departments. The marketing intern will report to the Interactive Services Manager and assist with the day to day objectives of the Marketing department.
Job Duties to include but not limited to:
Assist in the implementation of marketing goals and objectives
Support and analyze marketing research relative to marketing campaigns
Conducts company, competitor and target market research for industry marketing
Assist in creating and managing content for fcdallas.com, myfcdallas.com and other websites
Participate in events, promotions, client entertainment and other activities as required.
Assist the marketing department on game-days to coordinate and implement marketing endeavors such as half time entertainment, in game promotions and other related duties
Work with Interactive Services Manager and Coordinator on Social Media Marketing efforts, including strategy, communication and growth of facebook, twitter, myspace, etc.

Public Relations/Media Relations Internship
The public relations internship is ideal for a college student with an interest in public relations and a knowledge of FC Dallas and Major League Soccer.
Job Duties:
Assist with FCD Game Day Operations
Includes Game notes, press box set up, credential process
Assist media with statistical questions, player interview requests, etc.
Asssist in writing Press Releases / Develop story lines / Blog posts
Assist in creating Game Day Roster Handout and other publications FCD Hoops Nation, Enews, PHP Guide, Freekick, etc.
Assist in coverage of FCD Reserve Team and FCD Youth System / games at PHP
Assist with providing stories and content for FCD.net. FCD Blog, PHP.com
Attend and observe FC Dallas practices
May involve taking photos and shooting video
Qualifications:
Must be an active college student
Must receive college credit
Previous Experience with press releases and game notes
Must be available to work some nights and weekends for events held at Pizza Hut Park.

Sports Management Overview Internship
The FC Dallas Sports Management Overview Internship was designed to give college students the opportunity to gain a more accurate understanding of what it takes to work in the sports industry. By working closely with several key departments the sports management overview interns gain firsthand experience in the professional sports industry. Some of these key departments include Facility Event operations, Sponsorship, FC Dallas Foundation and Community Relations, Event Coordinator, Ticket sales, Accounting and Marketing. By spending time with each of these departments the student gets the opportunity to understand how all of these departments work together to benefit one company. This internship is ideal for a student who does not know which direction they would like to pursue with their sports management degree. This internship is designed for college students who require an internship to receive college credit.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Business Administration or related field
Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
Detail oriented and enthusiastic about working within a sport-related environment
Creative and outgoing self-starter
Must be at least junior year status
Interest in the game of soccer a plus
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: These may vary as the student rotates between the different departments.
Assisting with daily correspondence to FC Dallas and Pizza Hut Park guests
Delivering superior customer service and exceeding fan expectations
Researching customer retention strategies or potential marketing strategies
Administrative office duties including filing, organizing, data entry and mailing
Assisting in planning and implementing special marketing events and promotions
Assisting with ticket sales activities and events; including receptions; game day entertainment
Contribute to brainstorming; planning and implementation of ticket sales plans; idea and proposals
Assisting with set up and tear down for events including game days and possible concerts.
Ticket Sales & Grassroots Event Internship
FC Dallas is currently looking for motivated and driven college students to participate in a Ticket Sales and Grassroots Event internship. This position will give the student an excellent behind-the-scenes view on how a major professional sports organization ticket sales department operates. All internships with FC Dallas are unpaid internships and must be used to receive college credit. FC Dallas internships will be comprised of an estimated 20-30 hours a week. Start dates and hours can be flexible to work around work and school schedules.
During the program, participants will be supervised by the Soccer Sales Manager and be involved in a number of activities. The intern will learn all aspects of the coordination and administration of Sports Marketing, Ticket Sales, Customer Service, Ticket Operations and Game Day Operations. This internship is designed for college students who require an internship to receive college credit.
Job Duties:
Involvement in facilitating the Dribble, Pass, and Shoot competition throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth and North Texas area.
Contribute to brainstorming, planning and implementation of ticket sales programs to generate tickets sales and revenue.
Using online resources to research prospecting clients for new sales opportunities
Assisting in planning, organizing, managing and set up/tear down for special events and promotions such as youth soccer clinics, coaches meetings, and on site marketing.
Working with soccer sales account executives during day-of-game activities
Database management and some light administrative duties to include filing, copying and assisting with mass mailings.
Skills Required:
Knowledge and Interest in the game of soccer with a strong desire to work in Major League Soccer
Strong Verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented and enthusiastic about working within a sport-related environment
Creative and outgoing self-starter
Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft office
Background in sales, marketing, business, customer service or communications is encouraged.

Youth Player Development Internship (Summer Only)
This internship will work directly with the Manager of Youth Player Development to facilitate the FC Dallas Academy summer camp.
Duties
Assisting the department in marketing, administration, scheduling, and facilitation of events including soccer camps, soccer clinics and coaching education sessions.
Requirements Candidate must hold a drivers license. Candidate should have soccer playing experience and be detail oriented and possess a working knowledge of the internet, MS Word, MS Excel, and previous database experience is necessary.

Ticket Sales Representative
The Ticket Sales Representative is responsible for the development of new business with a specific focus and emphasis on the generation of new tickets sales to individuals and businesses in the Greater Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Proactively solicit and follow-up on any personal sales leads under the guidelines established by supervisors.
• Maintain and be able to produce on a regular basis accurate reports regarding sales, appointments, and account maintenance.
• Participate in events, promotions, client entertainment and other activities as required.
• Provide personal service to clientele, while working closely with the Customer Service department to manage individual accounts
• Create, coordinate and implement effective sales techniques and campaigns in order to obtain revenue goals
• Positively interact with and influence all FC Dallas and Pizza Hut Park personnel
