2017 Team Toyota Stadium - Game day Grounds crew - FC Dallas (Frisco, TX)

FC Dallas and Toyota stadium are looking for individuals to work on an as needed basis during the 2017 FC Dallas Soccer season.  The Game day Grounds  team will be responsible for the set-up and tear down of the field equipment  for events held at Toyota Stadium, mostly FC Dallas Home games.

Duties:

  • Perform all tasks involved in field preparation for FC Dallas and Toyota Stadium events. This includes lifting, carrying and placement of items for setting up the field to include goals, flags, field boards and other items.
  • Assist with placement of the Advocare banner at mid field before the game and during half time.
  • Practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
  • Perform all tasks involved in breaking down after each event. 

Requirements:

  • Ability to work varying shifts, to include nights, weekends and holidays.  Each shift will range from 5-6 hours for FC Dallas games.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions to include extreme heat or cold.
  • Perform manual labor 
  • Ability to effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing in excess of 80 lbs with assistance from other members of the team.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies and the public.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Facilities Service Associate - FC Dallas, Toyota Stadium (Frisco, TX)

Toyota Stadium and FC Dallas in Frisco is seeking facilities services workers for maintenance and cleaning of the stadium. Under the general supervision of the Facilities Coordinator and Housekeeping Manager, the employee will have the primary responsibility for cleaning the stadium, in such a way to promote health and safety and reduce the spread of infection.  The custodian will have to keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. It is the role of the employee to do the daily cleaning, special event cleaning, as well as, special projects.  Areas include, but not limited to, office areas, locker rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, storage areas, concourses, and entrances.  The employee will perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing carpets, washing walls and glass, and removing debris. The tasks may also include performing routine maintenance activities and notifying management of needed repairs. The custodian may also be responsible for additional tasks that are not specified below. If so, these rights are specified as an addition to this description. These additional jobs may include general building maintenance, laundry, painting, vehicle maintenance, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Clean building’s floors, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.

• Take out the trash

• Cleaning of restrooms including replacing the necessary products.

• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.

• Clean windows, doors, mirrors, using soapy water or other chemicals / cleaners, sponges and    squeegees.

• Dusting furniture, walls.

• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers for cleaning solutions prepared in accordance with specifications.

• Wash the carpets using machines and equipment

• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.

• Driving vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work, including RTV and forklifts. We will train.

• Follow instructions in the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, to avoid damage to floors and fixtures.

• Assist with building security by locking the gates and doors after entering or leaving.

• Able to move heavy furniture, equipment and either manually or by using hand trucks.

• Use pressure washers and blowers to clean the garbage from the stadium, sidewalks and streets.

• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.

• Remove snow from sidewalks, and parking areas, using snow shovels and snow melting products.

Grassroots Marketing Team Member - FC Dallas, Major League Soccer & Toyota Stadium (Frisco, TX)

The FC Dallas Grassroots Marketing Team Member will serve as an integral part of the FC Dallas strategic marketing efforts expanding our reach throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The Grassroots Marketing Team Member will act as one of FC Dallas’ lead ambassadors in interacting with fans/businesses/communities that fall within FCD’s key demographic (18-34 year old males and females) where they work, live and play.

This person will be expected to have a dynamic/fun personality with the ability to engage our target audience and must also be capable of evangelizing key FC Dallas brand and sales messaging.  

This person will be working individually and as part of an overall grassroots event team that will focus on, but not be limited to, growing FCD’s reach in four key DFW segments: DFW-area bars/restaurants, adult soccer leagues, apartment complexes, and local colleges/universities.

The team member will also be charged with taking part in/building a variety of events throughout DFW as well as assisting the Event Presentation Team at events at Toyota Stadium (FC Dallas games and other events) throughout the year.

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Assist grassroots team in building/taking part in major events such as FCD Week, World Cup/Gold Cup events, U.S. Men’s/Women’s National Team watching parties, FCD playoff pep rallies, festivals, tournaments, concerts and more.
  • Connecting with and building/maintaining relationships with bars/restaurants throughout DFW and making sure they are properly activating during all key FC Dallas dates, including but not limited to: distribution of promotional posters/giveaway items, TV broadcast tune-in, staff activation, ticket sales messaging, data capture, etc.
  • Coordinating activation efforts and engagement as well as data capture at apartment complexes that fall within FCD’s key demographic in a variety of ways including, but not limited to: watch parties, pool parties, social events, individual ticket/group offers, etc.
  • Oversee relationships with all local DFW universities (SMU, TCU, UNT, UTD, etc. and community colleges) through activations/outreach/initiatives/events/data
  • Coordinate activation efforts and engagement as well as data capture at local adult soccer leagues including distribution of FCD marketing/sales messaging, promotional giveaway items, etc.
  • Assist in relationship building with local businesses that target key 18-34 year-old demographic to allow for pocket schedules, game poster distribution, data capture, ticket sales promotions, etc. on a consistent basis.
  • Assist grassroots team in build out of FC Dallas events calendar by reaching out to local venues and events and seeking activation opportunities
  • Responsible for assisting in the management and growth of the FC Dallas Promo Girls, FCDrum (drumline), and Mascot (Tex Hooper) programs into revenue driving programs as well as all internal and outside scheduling.
  • Serve as integral member of the game presentation team for FC Dallas home games, including managing in-game promotions, FCDrum and coordinating the FC Dallas Promo Girls and mascot Tex Hooper.
  • Team Member will be responsible for meeting pre-determined agreed upon measurable goals for each of the above job responsibilities.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Group Ticket Sales Representative - FC DALLAS, Major League Soccer & Toyota Stadium (Frisco, TX)

This is an exciting time for FC Dallas as we are looking to build one of the top sales teams in professional sports. FC Dallas is looking for an experienced, results-driven salesperson to join our ticket sales team. This position is a full-menu ticket sales role, with a primary focus on driving Group Sales initiatives through themed events and traditional categories. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in Group Sales and the ability to prospect and drive ticket sales in Toyota Stadium. This position includes a base salary, 10% sales commissions, other bonus opportunities and a competitive benefits package.

Job Purpose:

Identify and contact prospective clients, generate sales proposals, service existing accounts and ensure quality and consistency when interacting with FC Dallas ticket buyers. Game-day responsibilities include executing group events, prospecting at sales tables, servicing client accounts, and other duties as assigned. Candidates must also be able to work team events throughout the year which include holidays and weekends.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create, sell, and execute group events for every home game at Toyota Stadium
  • Identify sales prospects and contacts through multiple prospecting resources
  • Initiate new business from internal leads
  • Meet a daily and weekly minimum of outbound new business calls and face to face sales appointments
  • Create and present new business sales proposals to C-level executives
  • Establish rapport and maintain contact with current and potential clients

Facility Operations/Security: Custodial/Housekeeping
HOUSEKEEPING ATTENDANT - FC Dallas, Major League Soccer & Toyota Stadium (Frisco, TX)

Toyota stadium in Frisco is looking for housekeeping workers to work on an as needed basis during events at our stadium and complex. Under the general supervision of the Housekeeping Manager and Housekeeping Supervisor, the employee has the primary responsibility for cleaning the stadium in such a way to promote health and safety while reducing the spread of infection. It is the role of the housekeeper to follow daily and occasion cleaning including, but not limited to, the offices areas, hallways, lounges, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, kitchens, restrooms, concourses, soccer fields and entrances so that health standards are met. The housekeeper may also be responsible for performing additional duties not stipulated below. If so, these duties are specified as an addendum to this description.


Duties:

  • Perform any combination of light cleaning duties
  • Clean lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met.
  • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
  • Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
  • Maintain floor cleanliness using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
  • Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
  • Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Polish accessories and metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.
  • Remove debris from concourses, sidewalks, and playing fields.
  • Replenish supplies such as chemicals, paper goods, and bathroom items.
  • Load washing machines and fold dried items.
  • Wash windows, walls, ceilings, partitions, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
  • Request repair services and wait for repair workers to arrive.
  • Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides..
  • Dust window blinds, sills, furniture, and electronics.
  • Move and arrange furniture.
  • Observe precautions required to protect self and guest property, and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
  • Prepare work areas prior to events, and arrange equipment, and furniture for functions.
  • Wash dishes and clean kitchens, cooking utensils, and silverware.
  • Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.
  • Inform supervisors of product supplies to keep stocked.

The Membership Services Representative will be responsible for renewing season ticket member accounts on an annual basis while providing the highest level of customer service to all season ticket holders of FC Dallas. Primary responsibilities are to cultivate strong relationships through outbound phone calls, out of office appointments and in-game meetings. This individual must demonstrate a high level of energy and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly verbal, as well as strong organizational skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the management and annual renewal of all FC Dallas Season Ticket Members.
  • Plan and execute all service tactics and call campaigns to build relationships and strengthen retention efforts.

The ideal candidate will specialize in video filming, creation and editing in multiple mediums with a particularly strong understanding of storytelling and soccer history with the ability to leverage multiple projects at once to drive visual content consumption.  This position will be responsible for working with multiple properties to secure footage/photo/etc. to execute best-in-class visual content under tight deadlines on a daily basis.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the production of all visual/video/multimedia content for the National Soccer Hall Of Fame
  • Conceptualize and execute visual/video/multimedia projects for a variety of exhibits throughout the National Soccer Hall of Fame while working with key stakeholders to design and launch new features.
  • Ability to work cohesively with multiple properties (ex. Major League Soccer, US Soccer, etc.) to attain, log, edit, and standardize all raw historical footage/photos for exhibits throughout the museum.
  • Be able to shoot and edit multiple short and as well as a lengthier features
  • Having a working understanding of motion graphics programs such as After Effects, Cinema 4D or similar programs.
  • Be skilled at spotting developing visual content delivery trends and is a natural networker, building relationships within soccer and video/production leads with other teams, organizations, agencies and companies.
  • Be able to assist/manage AV operations, including live streaming, for special events, i.e. press conferences, concerts, other stadium and National Soccer Hall of Fame events, etc.
  • Responsible for critiquing strategy, concept, design, layout, copy and motion design under National Soccer Hall of Fame brand guidelines
  • Manage multiple projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality control.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Video Production, Communications, Graphic Design, Multimedia or equivalent experience
  • MUST have accessible portfolio available to review
  • Strong historical and current knowledge of soccer in the United States
  • Extensive multimedia/graphic/creative design experience
  • Strong understanding and experience in post-production and development programs such as Avid Express Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.  Able to identify all components of a project and appropriate resources needed.  Able to follow the project through to completion ensuring all elements are completed properly and on time.
  • Understanding of the technologies used, key drivers and trends in content delivery, both through video, photo, in-game and mobile applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, pertaining to both technical and non-technical information is essential.
  • Must be knowledgeable in outputting video to various file formats (Beta, DVD, online, etc)
  • Strong work ethic.  Take pride in your work and strive to exceed expectations.
  • Deadline oriented.  Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with a demonstrated willingness to work extra hours as required.
  • Advanced knowledge of a wide variety of graphics media, materials, equipment and their uses/applications

RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE - FC Dallas,Major League Soccer & Toyota Stadium (Frisco, TX)

The Retail Sales Associate will be primarily responsible for providing first rate retail customer service to all patrons at the FC Dallas Team store at Toyota Stadium. This position is a part time position and will be working in the Team store during events held at the stadium. The majority of our events are FC Dallas Soccer home games, while we also host International soccer matches, concerts and music festivals. 

 Job Duties:

  • Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly, clean, and well- maintained retail merchandise environment
  • Assist customers in all aspects of the retail purchasing process: product selection, checking-out, and/or bagging merchandise
  • Maintain solid product knowledge and an awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
  • Assist with set-up, display maintenance, break-down, and register close-out procedures in the Team store.
  • Assist in tagging, warehousing and replenishing FC Dallas merchandise throughout Toyota Stadium

Qualifications:

The New Membership Sales Representative will be exclusively focused on the objective and responsibility of producing revenue through the sale of season ticket memberships for one of the strongest clubs in Major League Soccer.

Direct functions include prospecting new business opportunities, managing and reporting weekly on your pipeline of prospects, a continual development of new business leads, prospecting and communication with our past season ticket buyers along with a commitment to building  and growing consumer relationships, increasing the affinity of our customers and demonstrating a strong commitment to quality and service.
