Job Description:

Job Description

The Ticket Operations Intern position is an entry-level, part-time position. The primary focus is assisting the Ticket Operations Manager with growing and cleaning the sales database, creating/editing reports, and assisting in the box office on game days.  This position is highly analytical and technology-based, but requires business development sense and an entrepreneurial spirit as well. 
 

Responsibilities: 

·         Create and maintain patron records in CRM system

·         Assist with managing the sales database

·         Enter data captured from events, contests, and games into the system

·         Develop new leads and enter them into the system

·         Organize, set up, troubleshoot and tear down the box office area and equipment to be ready for game day needs

·         On game days, assist in the box office, answer questions for patrons, and run the ticketing system

·         Create and analyze complex sales reports for use by upper management

Requirements:

Position Summary

The Atlanta United communications intern will be joining a two-person staff and will be heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of a professional sports communications department. Typical duties will involve compiling club press clippings, assist in writing of official club communication and helping prepare upcoming 2017 media guides.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Compile press clips:  conduct regular media monitoring for coverage of Atlanta United and log press clips electronically of United stories from local and national publications.
  • Media relations:  research, write and edit media communications (as necessary), including upcoming 2017 media guides.
  • Media services:  provide onsite support at club events for interviews requests.

Position Summary

The Fan Services Executive serves as a liaison between Atlanta United and our season ticket members and fans and delivers the highest level of service through relationship building, account management, renewal and retention efforts and matchday activities. This position will be located in the Georgia World Congress Center prior to moving into Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

  • Develop, enhance and maintain relationships with season ticket members by phone, email and in person.

Player Operations: Coach
Junior Coach - Minnesota United FC (Golden Valley, MN)

The Junior Coach will help run the Minnesota United FC Camps and training sessions around the Twin Cities metro.  This flexible, part time, seasonal position reports to the Lead Coach at each camp and training session, as well as the Director of Camps & Youth Development. Please note that this is a part time, contract, seasonal position working with youth camps only.  It is not a position working with the professional players.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Lead Coach in coaching camp and training session attendees as age-appropriate.

Job Description:

Merchandise Assistants are responsible for selling club merchandise on game days.  This is a paid, part time, seasonal position that begins mid-April and reports to the Merchandise Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and tear-down merchandise tents on game days.
  • Sell and upsell club merchandise.
  • Restock items that have sold during games.
  • Be on time and dressed properly for each shift.
  • Assist with Inventory.
  • Be friendly to any and all fans in attendance of each game.
  • Be the face of Minnesota United FC and represent the club in both a professional and personable way.

    Requirements:
  • Retail experience (apparel experience is a plus).
  • Personable and outgoing.
  • Available for all home matches.  Each shift averages 7 hours.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.

The Season Ticket Services Manager position oversees all areas of the development and execution of season ticket sales services and retention. The Ticket Operations Intern position is an entry-level, part-time position. The primary focus is assisting the Ticket Operations Manager with growing and cleaning the sales database, creating/editing reports, and assisting in the box office on game days.  This position is highly analytical and technology-based, but requires business development sense and an entrepreneurial spirit as well. 

Responsibilities: 

·         Create and maintain patron records in CRM system

·         Assist with managing the sales database

·         Enter data captured from events, contests, and games into the system

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist shooting, lighting, and editing video pieces for Atlanta United’s digital channels including behind the scenes content.

  • Assist Digital Video Producer and Manager of Digital and Social Media with various social projects and help with day-to-day data management.

  • Assist set up of press conferences and interviews with Atlanta United players and staff

  • Produce motion graphics, lower thirds, etc. to ensure high quality content

  • Monitor video analytics on all digital channels to assess what content works best on a specific channel and resonates with Atlanta United fans       

Qualifications and Education Requirements

DEPARTMENT: Youth Development

REPORTS TO: Academy Staff/ Manager, Camps & Training Programs
 

SUMMARY:  The 2016 Fall & Winter Coaching & Operations Internship Program is an opportunity for an individual excited about youth soccer development, coaching and operations to immerse themselves into D.C. United’s Youth Academy teams as well as training programs and Winter Camps at RFK Stadium. This program, which will run through the Fall and into the Winter (see dates below), will allow the individual to work closely with the Academy staff, specifically the Manager of Camps & Training Programs. The primary role will be assisting the Academy staff on the field with the training programs, observing and potentially assisting in Academy sessions, preparing equipment as well as additional duties listed below. The individual will also be responsible for some administrative work related to the training programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coaching
• Help lead coach as well as providing coaching and positive feedback to youth players
• Understand the topic for each session and be prepared to provide coaching based on coaching points

Operations/Administrative
• Assist lead coach in setting up and putting away equipment after each session
• Help with registration for new programs
• Help organize session (cones, balls, pinnies, etc.) for lead coaches
• Assist with promotion of training programs and Winter camps


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Youth coaching experience
• High School or College playing experience preferred but not required
• Minimum “E” Coaching License or equivalent preferred but not required
• Experience in childcare preferred but not required
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
 

PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES
