The Bilingual Account Executive position is full time, where the primary focus is on selling Minnesota United FC season ticket and group sales packages. You will receive dedicated training and you will learn techniques to maximize your verbal and written business communication skills. Prospects are targeted through new business initiatives and mining our current database via phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.  This position is located in Golden Valley, MN.  This position will start in late September 2015.


  • Maximize ticket sales and ticket sales revenue through execution of meetings, sales calls, and networking events.
  • Target businesses to share information about our brand.
  • Exemplify the core characteristics of a strong sales culture, e.g. strong interpersonal skills, prompt and professional follow-through, openness to new ideas and suggestions, as well as exhibiting constant enthusiasm toward internal and external contacts.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with all internal and external contacts.
  • Support a positive sales culture within the sales team, as well as the entire front office.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Ticket Sales.


  • 1-3 years of outbound ticket sales experience in a university or professional sports environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in sports administration, business, advertising, or marketing preferred.
  • Interest in building a career in sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, self-confidence, professionalism, resourcefulness, integrity, motivation, and a very strong work ethic.
  • Sales experience, although not required, is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fluently bilingual in English and Spanish.

The Philadelphia Union Foundation is a 501©3 and the charitable arm of the MLS team the Philadelphia Union. The Foundation is looking for reliable, hard-working staff members to assist with a soccer program Chester, PA. Qualified candidates will enjoy working with children from a diverse community and they will be able to commit to the work hours:

Spring League = April 1 – June 1

  • 5:00PM – 6:30PM, Mondays & Wednesdays.

  • 10:00AM – 12:00PM, Saturdays.

Summer Camp = August 3-7

  • 9:00AM – 12:00PM, Monday through Friday

Fall League = September 1 – November 1

  • 5:00PM – 6:30PM, Mondays & Wednesdays.

  • 10:00AM – 12:00PM, Saturdays.

Responsibilities will include group activity, game facilitation, and general monitoring and mentorship of the participants.

The CCU soccer program will be held at the large and small fields at STEM High School. 1100 W. 10th Street, Chester PA 19013. Street parking is available.

Game Day Operations Interns aid in the successful execution of each home game.  Interns will receive an exclusive behind the scenes look at a professional sporting event and build unique experiences in the sport industry.  Game Day Operations Interns assist in the execution of Minnesota United home matches, ensuring that fans have an unforgettable experience.  This is a paid, part time, seasonal position and reports to the Game Day Operations Manager.  This position is located in Blaine, MN.


  • Aid in the execution and organization of game day set-up, game execution, and tear down.
  • Monitor and manage various stadium amenities and areas during each home game.
  • Be assertive and friendly to any and all fans in attendance of each game.
  • Be on time and dressed properly for each shift.
  • Be the face of Minnesota United FC and represent the club in both a professional and personable way.
  • Work with the marketing department for other large event operational needs.


  • Be personable and outgoing.
  • Available to work all remaining Minnesota United FC home games ( Each shift averages 12 hours. Most, if not all, games will be played in the evenings on their respective dates.  This position is September-November.

Position Overview:

Assist the D.C. United community relations department with running United’s community development efforts- including working on community programs, executing donations, managing the team’s fan mail, and more. Additionally, the Intern will help coordinate and execute programs and fundraising events for the D.C. United Foundation.


Assist with Community Relations department programs and initiatives

  • Assist in coordinating community outreach efforts and projects for D.C. United and the D.C.United Foundation

The Sponsorship Intern will work closely, alongside front-office staff, on the relationships involving D.C. Join our Loon Squad!  Marketing Assistants help with community efforts, grassroots marketing initiatives, and cultural events during the season, both on game days and during team events and appearances.   As a Marketing Assistant, you will receive a behind-the-scenes look at how to execute a marketing campaign and an event table, and what the most important strategies and results are while marketing a professional sports team in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.  This is a paid, part time, seasonal position and reports to the Event Manager.


  • Assist with major events in the community, including various festivals, fairs, block parties, and the Minnesota State Fair.
  • Assist with grassroots efforts and street marketing campaigns, including going to local bars and watch parties to pass out information and build excitement for the team.
  • Participate in fan interaction at games, including tailgate parties, as well as pre-game, halftime, and post-game promotions.
  • Assist with other events and promotions as assigned.

The Partnership Sales Representative will sell Minnesota United sponsorships which include game day, broadcast and Web integration, the Bielenberg Sports Complex in Woodbury, and community outreach and events.  This full time position reports to the Vice President for Business Development, and is a base plus commission position.


  • Prepare and execute a successful sales plan that meets and exceeds budgets.
  • Generate new business for the team through existing relationships and cold calling.
  • Present, negotiate, and close sponsorship proposals to potential clients through both written and verbal communication.
  • Build sales presentations for client meetings.
  • Provide outstanding service to new and existing clients.
  • Help develop ideas for programs or promotional opportunities that produce revenue.
  • Represent Minnesota United FC in the community and business environment when involved in civic and professional organizations.
