Account Executive - Season Ticket Sales - D.C. United (Washington, DC)

Job Summary:

D.C. United seeks a motivated, competitive, and career-driven individual to sell season and premium seating packages.

Job Responsibilities:

MINIMUM POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Primary focus is to sell fullseason ticket packages for D.C. United
• Proactively look and prospect for new leads and customers
• Exceed the minimum requirements for outbound phone calls and appointments each day with the goal of maximizing all ticket revenue
• Provides phone support and follow-up of ticket sales marketing campaigns.
• Meets and exceeds defined sales goals
• Maintains accurate records of all prospecting activities and closed sales.
• Represents, actively promotes, and sells team at events. (D.C. United games, outside ticket events, ticket on-sales).

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
• Works well in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to quickly build rapport with customers and assess customer needs.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
• Advanced sales training.
• Minimum of one year professional sports industry experience.
• Considerable knowledge of basic sales techniques.
• Internally motivated with an acute attention to detail.
• Passion for the sport of Soccer.
• Knowledge of Major League Soccer and D.C. United.
• Established client base or extensive knowledge of Washington D.C. Metro market.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish.
