Sales & Marketing: Ticket Marketing
College Ambassador - New England Revolution (Foxborough, MA)

The New England Revolution are currently looking for local college students to serve as team ambassadors on campus and at grassroots marketing events. Ambassadors main roles will be promoting upcoming events, games and special offers to the student population.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Promote the Revolution on campus using Revolution provided materials; posters, flyers, etc.
- Liaise with school administration to coordinate organized school events involving the Revs
- Liaise with the Revolution marketing staff on a bi-weekly basis
- Represent the Revolution on campus; proudly wear team provided apparel
- Organize school specific, discounted ticket sales programs for fellow students
- Execute on-campus marketing promotions using Revolution provided materials
- Build a fan base for the Revolution among fellow college students

Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Strong knowledge of the New England Revolution and Major League Soccer is required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
- Must be a current student at a college in the New England area
- Must attend a college in New England

Communications: Media/Public Relations Servicing
Director of Communications - New England Revolution (Foxboro, MA)

Position Summary:
The Director of Communications will manage all aspects of communications with external entities as those communications relate to public messaging. In addition to standard media communications and process management the Director of Communications will also work on other initiatives that relate to driving relevance and news creation for the New England Revolution.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  1. Create, maintain and manage relationships between the New England Revolution and all public/private media organizations.
  2. Act as a liaison between media members and team, coaches and front office staff
  3. Create all public communications including but not limited to press releases, game notes and web stories
  4. Manage game day media operations
  5. Create news opportunities for the Revolution including but not limited to player appearances, charitable contributions, and front office stories
  6. Interact with team PR firm to drive high levels of returns form Revolution activity in the marketplace
  7. Manage relationships with local and national media partners to increase coverage and exposure for the New England Revolution
  8. Hire, train and manage all full or part time members (including interns) of the New England Revolution public relations team
  9. Manage the creation of all Revolution publications including but not limited to the Media Guide
  10. Act as the primary liaison between the New England Revolution and SUM/MLS on all matters related to public relations
  11. Special assignments and projects as business dictates

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Impeccable writing and editorial skill set in order to assure all public communications from the Revolution are of the highest standard
  2. Strong interpersonal skills showing the ability to manage interactions between the media and members of the team, coaching staff and front office
  3. 3-5 years experience in a Public Relations role in Division 1 College or Professional sports

Marketing Intern (Spring 2015) - New England Revolution (Foxborough, MA)

Want to gain valuable experience and first hand knowledge working in the professional sports industry? If so, the New England Revolution have the perfect opportunity for you because we are currently looking for fall interns!

The New England Revolution Marketing Intern will support the Marketing Department by assisting with the daily functions and responsibilities of the department. This position requires an individual with a personable but professional demeanor, who is confident in their abilities, detail-oriented, flexible and solutions-oriented and possesses strengths in the areas of time management, task organization/prioritization and project management.


Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Participate in the development and implementation of marketing goals and objectives

2. Assist with preparation on the department's game day roles including restocking inventory

3. Manage all Fan Pack inquiries and fulfillment

4. On Revolution game days, assist with gameday marketing and community relations responsibilities

5. Assist in the coordination of various Revolution collateral materials

6. Assist with marketing and community relations events

7. Work with marketing staff to initiate ideas, create, research, and execute promotions to showcase the club

8. Carry out grassroots marketing initiatives in Boston, Providence and other locations

9. Fulfill donation requests, when applicable

10. Perform all other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS: 

1. Must be well organized and able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously

2. Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and have a strong sense of creativity

3. Knowledge of and passion for the sport of soccer is preferred

4. Preference will be given to candidates who are pursing sports management, marketing or management

5. Preference will be given to candidates with prior marketing or community relations experience

6. Must be enrolled in college

7. Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
