Account Executive - Affinity Group Sales - The New England Revolution (Foxborough, MA)

Position Summary:
The Account Executive - Affinity Group Sales position will primarily sell Revolution ticket products to a wide variety of targeted prospective buyers but will focus on elementary and middle schools, colleges, camps, and scouts. This position must be a leader and set the example among the account executives in terms of sales numbers, work ethic, and adherence to company standards.

The Account Executive will also play a key role on Revolution game days and at Revolution events. This position will take on added responsibilities in the planning and execution of Revolution elements on game days and at Revolution events. The Account Executive will also attend outside events related to the primary groups being targeted to prospect and build relationships.

This position will play an Integral role in developing new Revolution sales initiatives and programs and will be tasked with special project designations.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Sell Revolution sales products to a wide variety of prospective buyers primarily including elementary and middle schools, colleges, camps, and scouts, and provide service after the sale to those customers.
Continually prospect for new business in order to stay a leader among the sales staff in terms of sales numbers and example set for work ethic.
Keep accurate records and perform necessary follow up with customers in order to close sales.
Process orders by using the Archtics ticketing system and the Revolution intranet. Take all necessary steps and fill out all required forms/computer documents in a timely manner order to complete the sale and ensure proper delivery of all package elements to the customer.
Assist in developing new Revolution ticket sales initiatives and programs. Under the supervision of the Vice President of Ticket Sales, manage all aspects of special projects and programs to completion/delivery.
Assist in the planning and execution of Revolution elements on game days and at Revolution events. Provide constructive feedback to improve the experience for our fans and ticket purchasers.
Assist in developing Revolution sales collateral and marketing materials.
Attend outside events related to the primary groups being targeted to prospect and build relationships.
Special projects and assignments as business dictates
 

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

Excellent written and oral communication skills
Able to manage multiple timelines in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment
Highly computer proficient and skilled working with database and spreadsheets
Well organized and maintain a professional, courteous posture with team members and customers
Experience working with one of the following types of groups: elementary/middle schools, colleges, camps, scouts.

Position Summary:
The Account Executive, Group Sales position will primarily sell Revolution ticket products to a wide variety of targeted prospective buyers with a focus on Youth Soccer organizations. This position requires a high outbound call volume so a strong work ethic is necessary for success.

The Account Executive, Group Sales position must meet monthly, quarterly, and annual goals for tickets and ticket revenue so the ability to get results in the form of closing sales on a consistent basis is essential in this role.

This position will also play a key role on Revolution game days, assisting in the operation of sales related activities for Revolution clients and patrons.


Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
1.Make a high volume of outbound sales calls to prospective Revolution ticket buyers, specifically targeting youth soccer organizations across greater New England.
2.Sell Revolution sales products to a wide variety of prospective buyers and provide service after the sale to those customers.
3.Perform grassroots marketing activities for youth soccer organizations across greater New England to drive fan development and sales lead generations
4.Keep accurate CRM records and perform necessary follow up with customers in order to close sales.
5.Process orders by using the Archtics ticketing system and the Revolution intranet. Take all necessary steps and fill out all required forms/computer documents in a timely manner order to complete the sale and ensure proper delivery of all package elements to the customer.
6.Commit to the mastery of the Seven Step Sales Process. This position will receive extensive initial and ongoing training in this area.
7.Assist in the planning and execution of Revolution elements on game days and at Revolution events.
8.Perform other various tasks at the Direction of the Group Sales Manager and/or the VP of Ticket Sales and Customer Service.
9.Special projects and assignments as business dictates

Position Summary:

The New England Revolution Ticketing intern will support the Ticket Sales & Customer Service Department by assisting with the daily functions and responsibilities of the department. This position requires an individual with a personable but professional demeanor, who is confident in their abilities, detail-oriented, flexible and solutions-oriented and possesses strengths in the areas of time management, task organization/prioritization and customer service.


Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Participate in the development and implementation of ticketing goals and objectives

2. Prepare all areas of the Ticket Sales & Customer Service Department's game day duties including restocking inventory

3. On Revolution game days, assist with the ticketing events, initiatives and operations

4. Manage all fan pack inquiries and fulfillment

5. Assist with periodic ticket-related mailings

6. Perform all other duties as assigned

 

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
1.Must be well organized and able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously

2.Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and have a strong sense of creativity

3.Knowledge of and passion for the sport of soccer is preferred

4.Preference will be given to candidates who are pursing sports management, marketing or management

5.Preference will be given to candidates with prior marketing, sales or customer service experience

Grassroots Marketing Representative - New England Revolution (Foxborough, MA)

Members of the Revolution grassroots marketing team (The Battalion) serve as a brand ambassadors for the New England Revolution and represent the team at a grassroots marketing events throughout New England.

NOTE: This is a part-time position!

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

-Work numerous events throughout New England in an effort to promote the Revolution brand.
-Responsible for set-up and breakdown as well as distributing promotional items while interacting with fans.
-Generate sales leads by interacting with people and collecting data.
-Capture customer data using company iPad and enter data into the company system
-Demonstrate the ability to work well with other team members.
-Entertain Revolution fans (new and old) by means of humor, crowd interaction, and verbal communication.
-Assist with organization and maintenance of promotional item inventory for street team appearances.
-Work closely and communicate effectively with marketing and soccer staff.
-Represent the Revolution and their sponsors in a positive manner. Many of the events that the team will work include
direct involvement with key corporate partners.

 Skills, Qualifications & Experience

-Valid drivers license
-Outgoing personality is a must. Must be highly energetic, and enthusiastic
-Previous marketing/promotional experience for a college or professional sports team is preferred
-Ability to be a team player
-Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
