Reports to: Director of Client Services
Position Purpose and Objectives:
• To improve the overall fan experience and ensure repeat business from the team's base of season ticket holders
• To provide first-class customer service in all aspects of the job, develop excellent relationships with accounts, identify opportunities for business growth, and deliver customized communications, events, programs and benefits to the organization's most important fans.
• To assist in service and execution of group sales efforts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create a first class rapport with the customers of the Columbus Crew
• Be a leader in performance, attitude and commitment to the team
• Be the main point of contact for assigned Crew season ticket accounts. Credibly and responsibly present oneself as the key "go to" person for the defined account base
• Build strong relationships with season ticket holders through proactive communication including seat visits, phone calls, e-mails, and other channels
• Provide quick, effective and thoughtful responses to all Crew fans regarding these inquiries
• Provide reasonable solutions to problems for ticket buyers to ensure a high level of satisfaction with the Crew brand
• Identify opportunities for up-sells, add-ons, and referral business from clients, and work with sales representatives to maximize revenue from existing customers
• Assist in execution of Crew Soccer Nation benefits and programs
• Game-day support responsibilities include on-field program execution, customer service program execution and staffing coordination
• Support customer base in teaching ticket utilization techniques
• Assist with multiple tasks/projects from VP of Ticket Sales, Director of Client Services and Group Sales Manager
• Utilize all Microsoft programs such as Power Point, Word, Excel, as well as, Ticketmaster AccountManager, MailManager and GroupManager to create and to manage sales pieces and offers to season ticket holders and prospective clients
• Meet and exceed defined service levels and standards at all times
• All other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree required
• Prior experience in event management and customer service is preferred

• High energy; ability to remain focused on sales goals and work independently
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Proficient with Ticketmaster and Archtics
• Computer Skills: Database Applications, Excel, Outlook and Word software
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required

The Columbus Crew is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Database Marketing Intern. This position will be supervised by the Database Marketing Manager and will provide support to both the sales and marketing departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support the sales department with lead generation and tracking
• Assist with email marketing efforts throughout the organization including; weekly email marketing performance reports, audience analysis and other ad-hoc reports as needed.
• Create reports to support sales and marketing and other departments when necessary.
• Support the market research efforts of the organization including; survey creation, analysis and presentation of findings
• Daily support in the areas of email marketing, database marketing, database management, market research, website analytics and sales analytics.
• Provide general support with other sales and marketing initiatives as needed
Qualifications and Requirements
• College junior, senior or graduate student receiving college credit
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of direct marketing and sales including direct mail, outbound telemarketing and e-mail marketing.
• Strong analytic, quantitative and data interpretation skills.
• Familiarity with HTML is preferred.
• Detail oriented, organized and reliable
• Enthusiastic about working within a sports-related environment
• Highly driven, motivated and someone who takes initiative
