Internship Opportunities - Spring 2010 - FC Dallas and Pizza Hut Park (Frisco, TX)
The Hunt Sports Group has created a first-of-its-kind facility located on 117 acres just north of Dallas at the intersection of the Tollway and Main Street in Frisco, Texas. This master development features two major components: a 20,000 seat, state-of-the-art pro stadium immediately adjacent to a sports park with 17 championship-quality sports/soccer fields. Pizza Hut Park will be in use over 300 days per year, showcasing a wide variety of local, regional, national and international programming. Although the primary focus of this facility will be centered around soccer-related events, both at the professional and amateur level, this venue will feature a myriad of events such as major concerts and festivals. FC Dallas is currently looking for interns to help in many different departments. Job Duties:

FC Dallas is seeking an intern to assist the Stadium Event Coordinators in all aspects of event operations, with an emphasis on game day logistics. Game day logistics include locker room set-up, table and chair set-up, and pre-game operations.
Assist Event Coordinators with game day operations.

The New York Red Bulls (RBNY) Operations Department comprises of various duties for all events held at Red Bull Arena and others done by RBNY. POSITION PURPOSE:
The Red Bull New York Ticket Operations department is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Ticket Operations Intern. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assisting the Ticket Operations in the following areas:
Opening of our new stadium, Red Bull Arena

Generating ticket sales reports, and managing customer databases.
Working all game days in the Box Office at Red Bull Arena.

Description: The Ticket Sales Intern will support the sales department in ticket sales programs and events, make outbound phone calls to potential and existing clients, and assist with the game day activities while gaining an understanding of the sales process in professional sports. Hours can range from 20-30 hours per week, in addition to working games and special events. Interns MUST be able to work weekends and have a reliable source of transportation.

40% Assist sales effort

Description: The New York Red Bulls Marketing Internship is a comprehensive program designed to provide students a “real life” work experience with a professional sports organization. Our interns are given a great deal of responsibility while covering a wide variety of the Red Bulls business. Major Responsibilities:
Interns will be highly involved in many of the teams marketing initiatives and given a great deal of responsibility.
