  • Assist with the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

Columbus Crew SC (Soccer Club) is the first club in Major League Soccer and 2015 is the organization’s 20th season. Owned and operated by Precourt Sports Ventures (PSV), it won its first MLS Cup championship in 2008, and has also won the 2002 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and MLS Supporters’ Shield titles in 2004, 2008 and 2009. 2015 is Crew SC’s 17th season at historic Crew Stadium, the first soccer-specific stadium in the United States. Description

Columbus Crew SC is offering internships in our Player Development Department. This internship is designed to offer experience in the day-to-day operation of Crew SC Academy, Player Development system and Crew Camp Programming. The Player Development internship is a great way to interact and collaborate across Crew SC.

Internships are available for recent graduates or students actively pursuing education and academic credit may be available. The internship requires approximately 15-20 hours per week at the Stadium and requires some evenings and weekends.

2015 Summer Internship - Creative Design - FC Dallas (Frisco, TX)

FC Dallas of Major League Soccer and Toyota Stadium are looking for a student intern to work with the Creative Team in the creation and design of print and online/digital content. We have created a unique hands on experience for students looking to gain experience in the Sports and Entertainment industry. We are looking for bright, passionate, hard-working students to be a part of our team through our internship program. 

Toyota stadium & Soccer Center is a first-of-its-kind facility located in Frisco, Texas. The complex features two major components: a 20,000 seat, state-of-the-art pro stadium immediately adjacent to a sports park with 17 championship-quality sports/soccer fields. Toyota Stadium and Soccer Center is in use over 300 days per year, showcasing a wide variety of local, regional, national and international events.

All internships for FC Dallas and Toyota Stadium are unpaid internships, and must be used to receive college credit from an accredited university. The internships allow the individual to gain valuable experience with a professional organization for their future in the sports, entertainment, marketing, and sales industries. Hours can be flexible to accommodate with your school or work schedule. Some nights and weekends will be required.

CREATIVE DESIGN INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and design flyers, posters and other collateral to support the Sales, Partnerships and Marketing departments

Game Day Operations Interns aid in the successful execution of each home game.  Interns will receive an exclusive behind the scenes look at a professional sporting event and build unique experiences in the sport industry.  Game Day Operations Interns assist in the execution of Minnesota United home matches, ensuring that fans have an unforgettable experience.  This is a paid, part time, seasonal position and reports to the Game Day Operations Manager.  This position is located in Blaine, MN.

Responsibilities:

  • Aid in the execution and organization of game day set-up, game execution, and tear down.
  • Monitor and manage various stadium amenities and areas during each home game.
  • Be assertive and friendly to any and all fans in attendance of each game.
  • Be on time and dressed properly for each shift.

Through this internship, you will be introduced to the behind-the-scenes operations of the Club. You will work closely with the Head Groundskeeper on specific tasks that will include operational support with the following (but not limited to): MLS/U23/Pro Academy Game Days, International Club Hosting, Special Events, Training Grounds, Tournaments, Youth Camp and our Youth Club.   • Work all MLS/U23/Pro Academy Orlando City SC home games, assisting the Head Groundskeeper as needed.
  • Assist with turf management aspects including mowing, edging, chemical application, aerification, irrigation, pest management, etc.

The Philadelphia Union is looking for an energetic and motivated American Military Veteran, who could be in any number of different degree programs, to work on two business relation initiatives: Tickets for Troops and Army-Navy Cup. The Tickets for Troops 2015 campaign will be enacted as part of the Philadelphia Union match on Saturday, June 27th against the Montreal Impact.
